i think for ausi, allan border and mark tailor were the better capt. coz ponting has carried on the success of his predecessors whereas border had to build a new team of winners.

make pointing Zimbabwe or Kenya captain..he wont have a single victory while playing against top teams..pointing got the world best team...so y he is able to be the victorious captain...
It goes without saying that the Australians are the best cricketing team that the cricket world has seen since Clive Llyod's team. And, it also goes without saying that the Indians are some of the best that the world has to offer these days. Add the aggressiveness and competetiveness that both the teams now have, I am sure we will be witnessing the series of a life time. Can't wait for the series to commence, and, of course, may the better team win.

Australia still are the better team without doubt & India start as underdogs though in recent times they can be termed as the toughest opponent for Australia on their home turf....
India is a most unpredictable cricket team.On its day India can beat Australia and other day may lose to Bangladesh or Zimbabwe.But as an Indian My full support is with Indian Team.Hoping our players will prove their mettle on Aussies soil.

Was true till sometime back but after India won the 20/20 worldcup many will have great regard for them....Ponting has admitted that they are Tough Opponents
Offlate suprised to see ponting's batting performance.
An attacking player he is yet has managed to have an average of 59.42 in test cricket better than all the batsmen who have played 100 test matches with 33 hundreds.
His captaincy record has overshadowed his own batting records..amazing..The way he has copped as a player with captaincy is outstanding.
India is a different team now. It is better side than the previous tour to Australia. India is unpredictable as they shown in T-20. So watch and see, anything can be happened. Yes it is balanced team and India will win the Test series. Also the one T-20 match will win by us. But I have a doubt in Triangular Series. Sri Lanka also a tough side. Still India have a chance.
