Why the hell selectors should not be paid. Scrap the system of Jonal representation and have full time paid selctors at the most three and for longer tenure may be ten years so that they can actually watch the progress of cricketrs across the country. BCCI please give due respest to former players. Ravi Shastri and Sunil Gavaskar are not the only ones who have played good cricket for India.
Vengsarkar reportedly loses 40lakhs per year as he is not allowed to write. Then why is stickint to BCCI? There has to be other ways of being compensated.

vengsarkar will take money from player by blackmailing them of selection. i suspect how vengsarkar can leave 40 lakhs so easily hmm....
ICL provides a window of oppurtunity to youngsters to hone their cricketing skills by utilising the services of renowned professional cricketers and playing with them. I hope god provides them an oppurtunity to play for India one day !

Not monarchy - but anarchy of crooked face pawar!!! Now he is OFF to ICC to have the cake and eat it too!!! Sharad Pawar is just like Sukh Ram (remember SCAM RAM). Finger in every pie!!!
Gavaskar was right in his approach that he would not only money but exposure to the international cricket journalism if he stops writing coloumns for print media.Mr Pawar,is aware of this fact and wants to find out some via-media for solving this problem.
