Dear all don't you think a good batsman like Robin Uthappa should have played yesterday? I love him so much. He's so cute and is such a nice human being. He plays better than SACHIN, SAURAV and DRAVID. He is a good fielder also.

Well said. We cud have gone for Uttappa and Karthik as opening pair instead of Gangu and Tendu who are old war horses but lankdas in one day races.
Not only did Indian Cricket players lack a ninth bowler, second wicket keeper, thrid Captain but also missed the twelfth, thirteenth and fourteenth fielder. It might have helped if they had 100 overs to bat. A runner for every batsmen would have come in handy. At the start of the second innings a group of streakers set the West Stand alight; soon it was India's batsmen standing exposed. Hudos to VENSARKAR who never knew why he droped sachin, ganguly and agarkar for bangladesh tour and still he did not know why included them int the ENGLAND tour. KEEP it up.
Our Rahul is now taking stupid decisions one by one after the last test match at Oval. There he not forced Englang for follow-on and here he decided to bat in light and in breez condition. Every body may observed that Mr Atherton was smiling at Dravid while our great captain was busy with how he is clever in making decisions. Now whole India is waiting for his next very calculated decision. Popat

you are nothing but biased against dravid--if we bat we are at fault if we bowl we are at fault--all because of dravid--why dont you take your opininons and shove it.

don't think we can blame dravid for electing to field first. if indian bowlers could have sot some early breakthroughs, out come would have been different and everybody wold have praised dravid.....

Narendra is right. Dravid is a poor captain who always put down his Anchor, he does not have guts to take strong decisions and because of his poor captaincy we only could manage to draw the third test. He has to kicked out. Not only Dravid, Sachin & Ganguly also deserved this.

Then who will play...so called youngstars? like Gambhir,Dhoni,Uthappa, Yuvraj (if he is still youngstar) ?

come on man.. whole team performed pathetically.. y r u accusing only dravid for that? we cant play under pressure! its as simple as that!!
RE:Great decision maker

small correction: we have only one player who plays under pressure. and that is Dravid. face up to the truth.

yeah but in one day mathces he hardly helped us to win mathces though individually he shines!but in test he did win us matches under pressure situation

yeah its ateam game still a player contribution may be stand out and crucial to win the matches..thats wat i was telling.. in australia we could draw the test series and dravid's preforamnce was outstanding in that.. u hardly get such preformance from him in one day

what is this all about winning a match means? standing up and batting all 50 ours from both the sides, and bowling all 50 overs, and multiplying yourself into 10 and fielding everwhere and keeping wicket. dear we are talking about cricket. a human team game. we are not talking about vishnu's 13 or 14th avatar
I posted yesterday that Sachin will tremble before Anderson on 1st ODI and that was what happened. He has proved again that he cannot help the team to get out of a crisis and he is a weak player in crisis. Please stop dragging him to the stature of cricketing greats. I really dont understand what Agarakar is doing in the team ? How could this less than average bowler could make into the team ? In that seaming conditions Sreesanth would have been a better option.
RE:Sachin..Is he really great ?
by Dipal Choudhury on Aug 22, 2007 02:26 PM Permalink
Yeh, Sachin's golden days are over. Agarkar is there because of the "Maharashtra Lobby". The team now should field yound players, like Karthik and Gambhir in the opening slot. Does not matter if we lose a couple of games. Give more players a chance in the seaming conditions. Even, RP Singh was not moving. What is the fun of having Munaf in the team who can't bowl 3 sucessive deliveries of more than 130km/h, who can't bend and collect a bowl to through. We need a complete overhaul and till then expect some lossess. What is if we chuck Rahul-Ganguly-Sachin-Kumble out of the team for Test/oneday or both and see the result? Can BCCI take the risk ?

Well said Mr. Dipal I am totally agree with you. All the old horses should be kicked out. Only the big name is not enough, they should play & contribute enough to win the match but not make their individual records. Certainly they were great in older days, but those are over now. If you really want to save Indian Cricket BCCI has to take serious dicisions.

FIVE YEARS back IMRANKHAN said in an interview that SACHIN is not a match winner. He is right. However, our mind is very small. We never accept the truth.
