When fear is the key!
by Ramesh Kapoor on Aug 22, 2007 09:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What made BCCI go to ICC? Did ICL canvass for recognition by ICC or even ask for a membership? It appears that it was all a matter of fear, and if BCCI consider itself a true representative of a cricketing authority in India, it should encourage such leagues, which will perform its own task, while BCCI look after the bigger picture. NO, BCCI feels that no one other than itself and its associate bodies to represent cricket. Today BCCI is discriminatory organization and has inconsistent policies and game plans. It is only interested in making money, and that is all?

We all in India play cricket. And we all have had aspirations at some point of time, and we know how tough the environment in India is. We should take this as an opportunity to support ICL. Once ICL garners support from the public, ICC will automatically recognize ICL and BCCI should be defunct.

Our so called politicians do not like anyone confronting them or talking about them. They think any action of theirs is right. Well Kapil dev and Ronen Sen are examples of people who dare to call spade a spade. Goodluck to them and to hell with BCCI and Indian Mp's

BCCI should not act so tough

ICL should be seen as platform for players to exhibit their abililities, so that they can represent their respective countries in days to come.

Because, Kapil had an opportunity to bring out Indian best talent as long as he was chairman of NCA. But, he did not, and he can suggest to BCCI adopt the new methodology to bring-in the young talent instead of planning to break the system.

And moreover, he started commenting on most of the Indian player since he associated with ICL, but he is recruiting the other country players and says ICL is to extract good Indian talent.

I am happy, recruiting is restricted only to INDIAN players and ICL stand as competitor to BCCI to serve better for the country.
