Sharad Pawar defensive
by SANTOSH kumar on Aug 21, 2007 11:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sharad Pawar is afraid to lose money. I am sure he has come to BCCI to make money. Every one in Maharastra know the kind of wealth he has - he is most richest politician in India.

I am sure ICL formation will be good for cricket.

Santosh,

If ICL becomes popular even to a small extent Pawar will derail it.

Pawar is a master politician. Congress party has given him absolute power over BCCI to keep him from creating trouble in its party's power structure.

If ICL starts bothering Pawar and he complains about it, the Congress party will help him derail it to keep him happy.

Pawar is abusing power because he is allowed to!!

on the contrary i think Zee people will start buying leading politicians and gather support. Since BCCI is not official body of indian govt and i think ICC credits the authority who has backing of country's govt, i think ICL might get acceptance from ICC and put BCCI out of business. that day would be a great day for indian cricket.

Kapil Sacked By BCCI
by Surendra Borkar on Aug 21, 2007 10:55 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is obvious to Mr. Sharad Pawar, to sack Mr. Kapil Dev, for leading ICL, which is another body for Indian Players. In world largest democracy Mr. Pawar could formed parties after parties, why not Kapil could form ICL. When Mr.Pawar had pulled out his support to Late Vasantdada Patil, and formed Govt. with support of BJP and others. In the meeting Mr. Maroti Mane asked Mr. Pawar a question, which was not replied by Mr. Pawar. In India nobody trust to Mr. Pawar, whereever he goes he brings calamities. Maharashtra State is 50 years backward, because of his policies in State. He can make partnership with Mr.Vijay Mallya, to manufacture wine, he can manufacture liquor, but he oppossed to wine park. This is nothing but the madness of sixty. His party is completely based on caste factors and corruption in masses by providing money and post to leaders of community. But I will tell to Mr. Pawar, those days have gone now, you have to face urban and rural educated voters. Mr. Pawar can answer my following questions.
1.Who was behind Agitation against Dalit in Marathwada
2. Why Mr. Khairnar was shouted against you?
3. Whose name was mentioned in IB Report?
4. How many files you have cleared with honesty?
5. Why you have joined to BCCI
6. Whether you prayed to AICC for BCCI election?
If yes then why you talk about Kapil, who won the World Cup
SB Borkar, Goa

Kapil was sacked because he didn't learn Marathi!!

When Kapil is asked for his opinion in board meetings he can't respond in the only language other members of the board understand and communicate in!!

That means it delays the decision process and slows down work.

It takes extra time to explain things to him in "Mindi" (Marathi - Hindi Combo Languaue ..... absolutely hilarious).

With such a handicap Kapil had to go!!

The moral of the story is that if you wish to stay in the BCCI --- LEARN MARATHI!!!

by dharmendra gupta on Aug 21, 2007 10:48 PM  Permalink

Yes termination of kapildev is right because we want the players & persons who don't know what is cricket SHAME ON THOSE WHO HAD TAKEN THAT KIND OF STEP. ONLY KAPILDEV IS THE PERSON WHO BRING THE GLORY OF CRICKET TO INDIA, AND DEVOTED HIS EVERY MOMENT TO CRICKET. lET'S TAKE THE JOB OF ALL THE JOCKERS WHO ARE SITTING IN BCCI AND GIVE THE CHARGE TO THEM WHO PLAYED AT LEAST FOR INDIA.DON'T WORRY KAPIL PAAJI ALL INDIA IS WITH YOU.

Pawar and BCCI
by SRI KUMAR on Aug 21, 2007 10:35 PM  Permalink

Pawar is digging his own grave, by sacking A great Indian Cricketer and only captain who brought glory to Indian Cricket.

Cricket is revered as a religion, b'coz of one world cup. Kapilji, a selfless and dedicated cricketer and a true Indian. He can't be compared with any 'greats' even for next 100 years. Sadly, we the Indians never appreciate a peron like him, till they are alive and voice gets soaked, when we have to fight against injustice in all walks of life.

Back to Pawar, he has a lot of 'credentials'.

When he was a CM, Mumbai faced serial blasts
Once he became an Agricultural minister, lot of farmers committed suicide (both in Maharashtra and other states)
Once he became a president of BCCI, cricket was totally politicised and destructed very faster.
He will vacate the seat, once BCCI's bank balance becomes zero

Dear fellow sports loving Indians, Say 3 cheers, cricket will be in safe hands of Kapil and ICL very soon.

Dear Kapilji, beware, Pawar and all other 'kars' and chamchas will apply for ICL, once they ruined BCCI and out of job and pls don't admit them even by default.

KAPILS SACKING - A MAD MAN GIVING DECISION
by BHABANI NANDA on Aug 21, 2007 10:33 PM  Permalink

BCCI IS BEING REPRESENTED BY A BUNCH OF JOKERS WHO NEITHER DO THE JOKING PROPERLY NOR THE MANAGEMENT. CRICKET IS A GAME OF GENTLE MEN, BUT WHERE HAVE THESE NASTY POLITICIANS HAVE ENTERED.

THEY ARE DOING THE TRADING OF CRICKET, NOT BUDDING THE GAME. ARE THEY SERVING THE NATION OR RUINING THE RESOURCES. WHERE ARE THESE JOKERS WHEN INDIA HAS WON THE WORLD CUP, NOW THEY ARE GIVING AWAY MONEY TO THE CRICKETERS FOR THEIR PERFORMANCE.

HAVE BCCI ANNOUNCED ANY PRIZE FOR THE TEAM WHICH WON WORLD CUP FOR OUR COUNTRY?

ARE THEY FINANCING ANY OLD CRICKETERS IN THEIR BAD DAYS?
ARE THEY GIVING THEM BREAD & BUTTER?

IT IS EVERY BODIES FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO GET EMPLOYMENT & EARN THEIR BREAD & BUTTER?

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IN EARNING?

SPREADING THE GAME IN ANY MANNER IS ACCEPTABLE.

WHY BCCI IS OPPOSING THE ICL, WHO EVER IS SPREADING CRICKET, ALWAYS SHOULD BE WELLCOMED.

IN THE MORAL GROUND FUNCTIONARIES OF BCCI SHOULD RESIGN FOR THE DEBACLE OF INDIA IN THE WORLD CUP.

THEY SHOULD LEARN FROM THE GREAT BANYAN TREE TO GIVE SHELTER TO EVERY BODY & LET THEM GROW.
ICL IS NOT A PARALLEL BODY AT ALL.
LIKE NGO'S THEY ARE ONE OF THE THRED OF CRICKET.

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER, BCCI SHOULD THINK ICL AS A CHILD NOT A CONTENDER.

days of BCCI has gone
by akash on Aug 21, 2007 10:19 PM  Permalink

BCCI shuld stop thinking that they are final body of CRICKET in india. The day when Mr.Pawar has joined BCCI, it's getting worst and worst. Now BCCI is no longer as Cricket board it will be just like another political party.
