why this Discrimination
by vix on Aug 21, 2007 05:18 PM  Permalink

if people working for other organisation can play for india, then why not people working for ICL play for india, there are many players among the current team who are employed by pvt ltd companies, and does BCCI have the right to stop a player from playing for India if the player is not willing to take their orders??

so its team BCCI, team ICL but no team India the one which we should be following

Beware BCCI
by surendra sahoo on Aug 21, 2007 05:17 PM  Permalink

How can some one banned a player for life time from any domestic game. BCCI is heading towards a monopoly world & to rule Indian cricket for next 100 years. Game can not be confined but good player will come out with better competition and playing game. I don%u2019t understand India is running a democratic way or monopoly / king rule with BCCI%u2019s money power.

Let us clap for ICL to give India best Player to INDIA.

BCCI had no other option
by Biswajit Ghoshal on Aug 21, 2007 05:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

...That's all BCCI could do. On the other hand, so many good players joining ICL means, in very near future, ICL may come-up with a team better than BCCI's 11-players and then want to send the ICL-11 as the "national squad". What would BCCI do then?

Considering the manner in which BCCI works (i.e. only working for Maharashtra and Karnataka, and complete neglect for the rest of the country, particularly the eastern-part), what ICL is doing is very appropriate.

ICL would look after the players much better than BCCI - and BCCI would loose all its glory, and it's administrators will loose all their money. Serves them right !!

Can we start a signature campaign who would like to ban BCCI forever so that Cricket does not die in this country as Hockey died years ago?

We play only one game these dogs at BCCI will kill this.
