Maybe they could appoint Deve Gowda to head the academy (will be one way of keeping him too busy to interfere in his son's policies in K'taka) seeing as Punjab's ex-police chief, PS Gill already has his hands full, and so too Kolkatta's Police Commisioner. Maybe they can induct Kiran Bedi, she's a burra police wallah, albeit a woman, but that could be a blessing in disguise - she'll make the perfect scapegoat.

this is absolutely a dada giri from the part of bcci. who are they to ban any cricketer if he joins icl. will some one tell this idiots that cricketer are playing and representing india and not bcci. india is a democratic country and representing india at international level in any sports is a basic right of all the indians who are capable in that sport and it cannot be taken away by the governing body without any justified reason and not because the cricketer has join a body which is not recognized by these handful of jokers. if that is the case then we should consider that bcci is a pvt organization and have no rights to represent india. believe all players should come together and take a legal action against bcci for threatening them and taking away the rights.
What has BCCI been doing, It fills up the coffers, amasses thousands of crores in the name of the game and does virtually nothing tanigble for the game. It does not give grants for construction of new stadiums, every club has to find its own sponsoros; it does not allocate budgets for preparation of sporting wickets, it does not have any plan to improve the domestic cricket structure that produces back up players. Contracts are awarded only to 10 or 15 players, that too to those who have already made millions of money. The Ranji level players however much talented and p[romising just do not have the means to survie the pollitics the system throws up, with meagre financial resources, they fade away. The BCCi should award contracts to atleast 25 to 50 players in every state so that the interest for the game is survived in them. Players join ICL today beacuase they see absolutely no future at all in the present system; neither careed prospects with each senior player lingering around for close two decades, and with no fincial streanght to support themselves. AT Rayudu of Hyd was a very promising cricketer, he had live with politics from Shivala Yadav and how can one survive ones morale and motivation in sytem like this. BCCI is killing the game in India. Sharad Pawar is a bloody politician and is the worst to happen to Indian cricket. With the emergance of ICL, players have financial streangth and they can plan their careers. Its definitely good to happen to cricket.

No doubt about kapil as player BUT What kapil gave to nation as chairman of NCA???????????? kapil is selfish like lots of indian player.He looking for money and money only and not for growing youngstars.. Its Big question why kapil is not coming in focus as NOW????? the Answer is simple thats Only for Money, Money and ....... So we have to hate this players..

hey ppp, tell me wat gavaskar did for Indian cricket...wat shastri did??? Note dat they cannot do much wen BCCI is headed by politicians...just to show us Indians, these former greats are adorned on BCCI commitees but beyond dat dey hav no powers...NO INDIAN PLAYER wants to annoy d BCCI...Kapil Dev had d guts,so he moved out...hav u seen or heard Gavaskar say anythin at all abt BCCIs way of working...never!!
