Dont b too emotional
by george vincent on Aug 21, 2007 06:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hello guys,

Dont be too emotional! After all India won the WC under his captaincy, it doesn't mean that what ever he do is correct. He was a failure when he got the chance to coach team India. Further, this ICL includes another buffoon - Kiran More. Under Kiran mores tenure as chairman of selectors, he just played with the cariers of promising cricketers like Ganguly and spoiled the whole team spirit.

After all it involves money, v just enjoy the developments rather being so emotional.

Cheers!

Subash And Kapil Know CRICKET Business
by on Aug 21, 2007 05:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think you people forget about kapil's involvment in Bookies. Kapil is hungry for money only. Its proved when he started playing golf. Its not new that people behind of corrupted politican ,cricketer , actor etc. Like sanjay dutt its kapil dev. People here discussing about ICL is working for benefit of crickets. If its like that then not offered handsome amount to players, Because subash chandra knows how much money in cricket, advt, telecast, betting etc. Kapil dev is not working there for sake of crickets. If he is like that then he worked something good for National cricket academy instead of ICL. AS he knows this business thats y he joined subhash. When cricker getting crores as salary then how much kapil getting and moreover He knows Betting and all. So friends try to understand buisness.

Appreciate the decision
by abhijeet patil on Aug 21, 2007 05:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I really appreciate BCCI's decision to sack Kapil. The man who only banks on his(in fact that was a great team effort) 1983 success only in which he only played against Zim, has done any good for India. Instead, he was only playing to complete 432 in last 2-3 years. After his retirement, he is only found doing ad-campaigns and on almost every channel(evenif he cant speak proper english)or alleging anytime better players than him like Sachin,Rahul and Sourav for their ad-campaigns. This is because Kapil Dev is jealous of their success.

BCCI vs ICL
by aravind kumar on Aug 21, 2007 05:59 PM  Permalink

the BCCI would have done itself good by accepting the ICL as its twenty20 wing. this would have helped in unearthing twenty20 specialists as well as kept both of them. right now, 3/4th of the country hates the BCCI and the other 1/4th doesnt know cricket. so, no prizes for guessing who is the loser. its not rocket science

An 'experienced' girl will be harder to please.
Know what I mean.. you'll be panting rather than enjoying.

An 'experienced' girl will have 'preconceived' notions about males. It's like after having stayed in a five star hotel, you will not like Youth Hostel very much.
Hence the guy loses.

So the Guy wins.

sacking of kapil dev
by dinkar shetty on Aug 21, 2007 05:57 PM  Permalink

bcci carries only money but not head. by sacking kapil dev, bcci has degraded itself in esteem. bcci gets credit from personalities like kapil dev. he should not be treated like ordinary. he is a national asset. even a country gets name because of personalities like kapil dev not people like shirke or sharad pawar!

Kapil
by on Aug 21, 2007 05:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I agree to the fact that Kapil Dev was a good allrounder. He lead the team that collectively worked hard, contributed their best efforts and won the Prudential World Cup. But other than that what is Kapils contribution to BCCI/Indian Cricket after his retirement. He is a head stong, patronising and arrogant individual who thinks no end of himself. Where as the name Sachin, a living legend, whose fans are there all over the world, is synonym to humility humble nature and politeness.

Kapil tried his luck in politics and now out to make some money with ICL. There is nothing wrong in ICL. In fact, it has opened up a competitive spirit in indian cricket.

Kapil to cricket is like what amitabh is to movies. Both are good but certainly not as great as they themselves and the media over rates them.

Dear Mr.ON, why Kapil for dat matter which Indian gr8 has done much for Indian crciket post-retirement...Gavaskar??? Shastri???..None,simply bcoz wen cricket is run by BCCI none of these former players want and CAN interfere...they might adorn various BCCI commitees but they have no power beyond dat..its FACT...Kapil has alawys been known to speak his mind, he had d balls so he moved out...have u ever heard gavaskar say a thing against BCCI inspite of all the dubious distinction dat d board has and recent Indian performances...NEVER...simply bcoz he is very tactful n diplomatic, and he is willing to toe d BCCI line!!!

Shashtri who is he? How many run and wkts he has taken in his whole life. he was playing only irritaed Criket. he spoled lots of indian match by his stupid Batting. He is even far infferior than Azhar, VC, Dilip or even Mohindar Amar nath. I failed to udnertand how u uttered his name in same braket of Kapil and Gavasker or Sachin. Hrithik Roshan and Ravi shashtri are the adopted son of media.
