Where is National Interest?
by mujeeb rahman on Aug 21, 2007 06:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

While team india players, sorry sorry BCCI contract holders can play for foreign clubs say England county clubs, why they should not play in any of indian clubs? Do this BCCI has the guts to say those who plays county matches will be banned for life? Our stars are entertaining those foreigners, but are not getting even permission to entertain own country fans who are giving even lifes for those stars. Common friends enough we worried about team india lets think about FANS india.

At last, BCCI has some guts to sack a super star. He has been bit of loud mouth with no great action. I wish this was done before and hope he stops this nonsense

BCCI vs ICL
by aravind kumar on Aug 21, 2007 06:03 PM  Permalink

the BCCI would have done itself good by accepting the ICL as its twenty20 wing. this would have helped in unearthing twenty20 specialists as well as kept both of them. right now, 3/4th of the country hates the BCCI and the other 1/4th doesnt know cricket. so, no prizes for guessing who is the loser. its not rocket science

what a foolish thinking, Mr. Venu do you know why people in india think too much before adopting sports career, MONEY? b'coz ultimately money is req. to survive, secondly a players life is hardly 35 to 38 yrs. after that what is the earning source for him? so ICL has done good, and this bloody bunch of jokers should realise that cricket is not there Dad's jaagir, thirdly its a good step atleast for those who play domestic level cricket and wont be able to make money enough to survive.

THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT WORKING FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE NATIONAL GAME BUT THEIR OWN DIRTY GAMES.

Please let me know why this is not possible?

See SK, BCCI is a private board and it acts like a pvt. co., and you must be knowing that a pvt. co. can sack a person anytime who is helping their competitor co.
