ICL league
by Ramesh PK on Aug 21, 2007 06:42 PM  Permalink

There will definately be some positive fall outs:
1) BCCI can no longer be the absolute power in runing cricket in this country. Players will get better deal.
2)Jokers like Niranjan shah will be side lined.
3) Selection process will be more transparent.
4) Players with better potential will have an option: will move out to ICL in the longer run.
5) Can BCCI withhold retirement benifits which were extend just because they joined ICL. It's retirement benifits; neither Pawar nor any one else can with hold now, as Kapil & company were not aware of this fact at the time of joining ICL. BCCI cannot take decissions unilaterally. Yes, now it is clear & necessary amendments are made, players now signing ICL may loose out.
6) What a treatment to a champion cricketer by people who care for cricket!!!
This is how the politicians run the game.

Great decision

I welcome it. The corrupt two-faced kapil should not have been appointed in the first place.

Two-faced because he does not want to admit that he is in the ICL for money. The fact that he wants to help cricketers is a very purana and phaltu alibi.

Corrupt because i believe he is corrupt.

A PLAYER PROFILE WORKING VERY HARD TO IMPROVE INDIAN CRICKET IN INDIA AND ABROAD FOR LAST 30 YEARS HAS BEEN SACKED BY BCCI - (CORRUPT PERSONELLS WORKING FOR LAST 2 - 3 YEARS) FOR MONEY

THANKS TO BCCI, KAPIL DEV WILL GET MORE TIME TO MAKE ICL PROGRESS SPEEDY AND PROGRESS OF INDIAN CRICKET UNDER ICL AND WILL FIND MORE & MORE ENCOURAGING AND EFFICINT PLAYERS

HOPE THAT ALL DIFFERENT TEAMS UNDER ICL WILL BE EFFICIENT TO DEFEAT THE MAIN TEAM OF BCCI

HATS OFF TO KAPIL AND ICL
