Indian team is directionless,short of strategy,unique example of recurring team failures,lack of individual brilliance of late,more priority for non cricketing things by acquiring cricketing star status. They either bat well or bowl well but do both the things well together rarely and when they do ,they win.More than kho-kho,commando training, they require sharpening of cricketing basics,improving running between the wickets,keep the score board moving by singles and twos,improve body language and include few experienced hands.
When Dravid and Greg Chappel took over there were different quarters like Kiran More & Co and ofcourse the long list of Saurav baiters like Mr. Prem Panicker who said and believed that the new leadership will take India to new heights. I think people forgot some basic things that to be captain of the Indian cricket team you need to be a genuine leader of men and people like Dravid who is a great cricketer is so far from it. I think all of us are now realizing what was Saurav's greatness - it is the same set of players that he commanded and just compare the results. You will notice that these days the so called Saurav baiters brigade is not to be seen and they do not have the guts to say that it was a grave mistake in making Dravid the India captain and not even giving Saurav a hero's exit. Besides, having Greag CHappel at the helm who had the audacity to show finger to the Kolkata crowd. I am happy I don't have to watch this circus till the next world cup.
See it is not easy to make team world champians, but 1st i want to say to be very good team, indians have all sort of guts but they need to improve there mentle power, second there stablity, third consistensy, now the point is make order costant atleast for 20 onedays, no experimnet need now becz world cup is near, dravid should be very very aggressive, not chappel, in ground dravid have to think, chappen is only for coach,Sahwag have to fire in all , becz he is the opening batsman, and if nit in next 2 matches try someone esle , gambheer is playing good uttapa ia aslo good, now at third position Kaif is best batsman he is the man who need some balls to set in ..and yovraj is next , then dravid, then dhoni, ..like make contsant order .raina needs little time he needs more practice in domestic matches. so he sd be out of team ..
Its high time the selectors understood that Dravid is not a good captain. He is like his nick name 'Wall' and Chappel is sitting on the wall. He is just too timid...like a school boy who has forgotton to do his homework and scared of teacher (Chappel).. You need guys like ganguly who takespride in playin for India... the passion with which he wears the team colors is just too good.... the big problem of the Indian team has a simple solution.... GET BACK GANGULY.......
firstly drop Sehwag, pick up Gambhir and Utthappa. Bring sachin down in order. drop raina. dravid one down, Sachin, Yuvraj,Dhoni, Pathan, Harbhajan, Munaf, Zaheer, Agarkar.
My opinion about cricket. Lets value the basic/major components: Batting, Bowling, and Fielding.
Australia is a better team in all the these three departments. It has been that way from a over years, alright, in fact, they have improved the gap i reckon. Brett Lee has come a long way becoming a excellent bowler and there is another "brett lee" in Mitchell Johnson. Mcgrath, though, is old, is better than any of our indian pacers even today.
Tell me, with this kindaf equation, how would Indian cricket team win?
On the other hand, lets see the better teams battle it out in the next phase.
1. There should be a povision to deduct the whole match fee if we face the defeate from the any team whose ranking is better than us.
2. There should be a povision to deduct the double match fee if we face the defeate from the any team whose ranking is lesser than us.
3. We should declare the playing squad for 2007 World Cup. There shoud be two teams means total 30 players. we should give the hance to each and every player so that in the last we would have the best 15 players for our mission.
4. Kick out Guru Grage Chapple.
5. There should be a pannel for Coaching. The Team members would be:

I think these pannel would be more effective than any others.
There is no reason to lose heart over India's defeat in Champion's Series. Everyone, ultimately, gets what one deserves. Only way to improve team India's performance is to get rid of all Sachins, Dravids and Dhonis and start building a team from scratch. If it means staying away from game for next 50 year, nothing like that. At least other games will get their share of lime-light.
