Indian team will never learn from its mistake captain has bunch of excuses ready every time and always get rid off cheaply despite pathetic display. I would strogly recommend them not to participate in a bigger event and loose it badly. They are shameless and keeps repeating same mistake again and again. Sack greg chappel and dravid 2 .
The question today is not coach or captain.We may change them but that will not solve the problems.We need to select young guys between 20-22 years of age and groom them for 12 months in camps for their respective departments and specially fielding as one day game is all about saving runs.the players shud not be allowed to become models as this leads to late nights and etc etc which affects their performance.After each series win at home or abroad handsome awards similiar to football world cup to be announced so that modelling will be less attractive.No more foreign coach as he will always concentrate on his perks.An Indian coach clean of politics and dedicated.
India has talent we need few honest men on top to rejunuvate the team.
whats troubling the Indian cricket scenario is presence of old timers like sachin/sehwag who are so confident that their position will be safe that they keep playing stupid shots..first step..act on "no one is safe in team india..you are as good as your last innings"...that way only the best and the most in-form players will get in...get express bowlers from HP/Punjab/Kashmir where people have the basic height and physique for this..even look at North East... Ganguly should be given a chance to prove himself..he derserves it at least for being the captain with the best record... kick out chapell..kick out people like dalmiya..bring in Kapil as coach...
I'm of the opinion that we must change the coach. It is of the strong opinion in my surrounding that the existing coach can not make India to reach semi-final in the coming world cup. Still it is not too late, we can think of dedicated Indian coach, and can assure India will win world cup.
definetly, Mr. chappel should be immediately removed from the post of coach. He is the guy responsible for the india's inferior performance in past 6 months.
Though now a days people say cricket is a team game, still Cricket is dependent of individual performance. Also Captain has vital role in Cricket unlike Soccer and Tennis (Davis Cup). So why don't we try to change the captain first? Who has served more than one year and doesn't show guts to stand firm in front of the Coach. My suggestion is why don't we try with Sachin again? That would the ideal tribiute to this legend. Also needs to back Ganguly to instill the killer instinct back in the team.
If you cant be aggressive, cant take bold decisions then resign immideately and concentrate on your batting or else your career will be finished with the world cup.

similarly you and tendulkar are the brilliant students & should concentrate on your course curriculam that is your batting skills and ganguly is the aggressive and naughty boy and he has already proven to be a good captain.
When India defeted Every one says change Captain & Coah, but that is wrong because if captain change India should win? no our indian player should play with dedication and workhard that is the thing ok
The team has got the right combination of experience and fresh blood and inspite of that something is missing. I guess Rahul as a captain is not allowed to take decisions and Coach has influence in all that the captain is doing. Coach still beleives in experimenting, which should be stopped. Moreover the players should be allowed to concentrate fully on the game and the media (including internet) should stop the hype around the team. Why invite players for advertisement when professional models are there? Will a top model of the country be asked to play a game of cricket, even if he knows the basics of cricket and played few street matches?? Media should stay away from the players and should allow them to concentrate on the job (atleast utill world cup). The approach now should be to take each match case by case that have been played in last one year and analyse the strengths ( forget weakness) and improve on it. Good Luck India.
