Don't make indian cricket team as indian politician. If any player is not performing upto mark kick them out. Indian players are spending most of the time doing ads,signing contracts,enjoying in pufs, they are least bother of 125 crores Indian sentiments. We should not blame to coach its rather player to be blamed and ofcourse of political mafia involved in selection.
Rahul Dravid- a selfish character and more selfish in look- he removed Sourav with the help of Chappel- who is coaching India for easy win of Australia- and both of them must be removed from the team on a/c of poor/ unhealthy performance.
Remove Greg today itself. Captain Rahul should exert himself. Remove shewbag, raina, munaf. Bring Jaffar,Uthappa and ganguly . Tell all players clearly that only performance will count not lobby or past record.If without performance verru, kaif,raina can be in the team then why not jaffar, ganguly.
1. Just put a ban on these players to do any advertisements.
2. Media (Electronic media in particular) should stop hyping these players out of proportion.
3. Make these players feel that no one is indespensable for the team or country whether it is Sachin or Sahwag or any other player who does not perform well.
4. Just treat these players as players. Do Not make them Ideals or Icons for the society. Apart from the game, their contribution to the society is NIL. Most of these players have only "clerical" level mental capacity. Since they are getting much more than what they desrve is the main cause of their failure.
<b>Bowling:</b> Our bowlers have the potential to do well, ONLY POTENTIAL, but that potential is never converted into a consistent performance. They bowl marvellously once in a blue moon. All our fast bowlers come under this category. The only hope i see in discipline and consistency is Munaf Patel but his fielding is way below par. All our bowlers like RP, Sreesanth, Agarkar, Pathan dream of picking wickets every ball..they never think of pitching the ball in right areas and be patient. This is how the greats McGrath and Pollock have been doing over the years. they pitch the ball in right areas and you can see the results.
<b>Batting:</b>Get back Sourav. He just lacks confidence now. But he is a proven performer in ODIs. Give him a new role, that of a no. 5 slot in batting order.This no. requires picking singles regularly and scoring boundaries at will and he is one of the best in business. The current lot at no. 5 like Mongia/Raina/Kaif donot have that capability. Just boost Sourav's confidence and get him back in the team. he can do wonders at no. 5/6. If Raina is a class act, give him an opportunity at no. 3 which suits him better than a no. 6/7 where hitting is required.
2. Call Panch Pandavas ( MAK Pataudi, B S Bedi, S Gavaskar, Kapil Dev & Ravi Shastri.).
3. Give them the responsibility of the Team India.
4. Fix up the responsibility as well as accountability for BCCI as they are representing the country. For success when they take the credit for failure also they should take the responsibility and leave the platform.
5.Dravid lacks the killer instinct,which was there with Saurav. At an evenly poised match, the captain leads the team and snatches win from the opponent. If at all the coaches want to continue with Dravid, he should placed under the grilling of some Management gurus in India before actually he leads the side in the field.
6. Each and evry player must know his role in the team and it should be so MICRO that if any player fails to reach that level, they will be accountable and should be out of the team. Each member must remember that they are paid for their performance and nothing comes free on this earth.
Enough of the coach acting as dictator and he is to be removed asap. Greg Chappel is good for nothing as all his experiments have failed and Dravid is too weak a captain he doesnt dare to take decisions , he is not firm and in the matches of Australia and West Indies he looked perplexed. Team India spirit is gone. Ganguly has to come back as captain !! He only can bring the spirit back, he has to be in the team . Saurav Ganguly should be team captain or in team and also some other person should be the coach !
