First of all Bring in Ganguly....He is badly needed at this stage..What if he is not playing well atleast his captaincy is perfect.Where is |Sehwag playing ??But still he is in from so long time.Ganguly is best suitable for captaincy,atleast he backs the players and that gives them confidence.The coaches job is to coach,rest the captain has to decide who will play at what position.Dravid has no decision of his own he is dependent on the others.Bring in Ganguly and give Sehwag some time to play domestic cricket and inprove.Look at the Aussies they had Micheal Bevan a hard hitter but they didnot stumble after removing him...Once again bring back Ganguly and see how Team India will fire back.
Yes, what we lack is ability. And we dont know who are our best players. Emphasis on fielding doesnot mean that we have four players in middle order who cant even hit a boundary. It was shocking batting composition. Mongia, raina, kaif all are similar players. We only need one of them not three!
Top two batsmen should be strokemakers in one day game. Number three and four should be consolidators. VVS and Rahul are right for that positions.
Number five and six should be powerful hitters and single stealers. Kaif and Yuvraj are the right men for that position. We may drop kaif and get a powerful strokemaker.
Dhoni should be our wicketkeeper for next 20 years in one day format.
Pathan needs to be dropped, enough is enough, he has lost it.
Munaf needs to be told that underarm throwers, slow runners are not welcome.
VRV and Sreeshant should be groomed to be our new ball bowlers. We need a yorker specialist, Zaheer is the right guy for that.
Harbhajan and Kumble for now and Harbhajan and Piyush chawla after world cup should be our spinners.

Dravid's position as captain need to be removed. A captain should work on strategies, should be aggresive. I don't think Dravid has any of these. Otherwize, he could not have Agarkar to bowl against WI in the last over, he could not have Raina to bat in 42nd over against Australia. His two big mistakes made us to exit from the ICC Champions trophy. Infact he has to be penalized for this.
BCCI should impose a marking system to the Indian cricket players and on each match they should be granted their marks according to their performances. If they fall below the set parameters, they should be sacked until they perform well in domestick cricket. This rule should be applied on each and every player whether it is Sehwag, Dravid or Sachin. I am sure, they will perform better in the time to come.
We are in a position where simply miracles are to be worshipped not ability.Mr Pathan was a nice bowler with a ability to bat.Now he is a batsman with a ability to bowl.It proves he is not specialised in either positions.So he should rely on miracles rather than ability as some day by God's grace he can bowl good or bat well.Mr Chappel doesnot believe in ability rather believes in experiments.If experiments can win you matches then we should start worshipping our god's as we are not confident of winning.
We are lacking confidence and it comes out of sheer hard work,patience and motivation and unless we are confident about ourselves we can hardly perform.
Stick to basics
1-5 batsman 6 an all rounder and 7-11 Bowlers.Not that all of them has to bat or bowl.Most important they have to confident about their respective role to play.
In my opinion Chappel is a very good patriot, whatever Ganguly trated with Aussis, Chappel is taking the return from Ganguly as well as from India.
We still beleave that Our country has many good trainer to train Team India like Kapil Dev. Having an aggrasive charector Ganguly should be Captain of India team.
