To be honest, we have lost the match winners in our old warriors. Rest Sachin and Dravid from One Day Squad. Drop Sehwag, who cares a very little to throw his wicket away, once and for all. Make some one else Captain who has the 'KILLER INSTINCT'(where are you hiding?, who are you?.)
We groomed only one genuine match winner in last three years in the form of Yuvraj Singh, though he took a very long time to reach this place. When you do not have match winners, there is no joy.
Friends, if you still advocate Indian team, can you tell me how many of our players have the potential to finish the match?(Like what Dhoni & Yuvraj did few seasons ago)

1. sack chappell reason: he is the one responsible for the outster of ganguly and he is the one responsible for Irfan Pathan ,Dhoni and others performing bad by his unnecessary experiments at the wrong time 2.bring back sourav ganguly as captian as ganguly knows how to motivate the team and is very agressive 3.pathan is a bowler who can bat he is not a batsman who knows to ball so make him come only at 6-7
I think aaggressive captaincy is needed, which is almost absent in Dravid. He is not able to take crucial decision in field early. He also never motivates the players in field, which is the key of this mental game, Make opponents fear with your team spirit and not be scattered

First of all make every player to know "Perform or Perish". Sack Sachin Tendulkar without giving any chances, in the same manner we did with Saurav. Ask Dravid to be more agreesive than calculative. He has proved him now he does not have to prove him to anybody else, he is the master. Sack Dhoni, till he realises that "Performance every times" counts not "Once performed in for every time". Stop making Irfan Pathan batsman of top order, let him do his specialised job of bowling otherwise he will forget his original skills for which got in team. Make Md.Kaif a regular member, he is loosing mentally. Sehwag and Yuvraj needs to be told and counselling is must for them. They should stop thinking and start playing. Zahir should be inducted immediately. Show more faith in Agarkar, his fastest 50 run record from Indian batsmen is not yet broken. Finally no complacent making contract should be made, every run scored and every wicket taken should be paid at fixed rate, if catch is taken pay the player, if dropped cut his fees which he has made from making the runs and or taking the wickets. This will definitely make every player work like allrounder.
What Team India Really lack at the moment is professionalism. Earlier under the leadership of Ganguly the team came together as unit and it was also seen in the matches at that time. But recent performance of Ganguly forced the selector to drop him. Need to think that a player who can manage the team in the crises should be left out (MD. KAIF) jus to give chances to new comers? I still think India can be the best team with world class batsmens ( who all needs to put bat to ball) "fielding" no doubt it is much improved and agile. Bowling is the department to think of. We need some good bowlers like Munaf to can make batsman jump and hop on his deliveries at times.
