i am really surprised by listening to rahul dravid's statement after loosing the match against australia in champions trophy he said that the total of 250 will be enough to beat australia and he planned the game that way .in that match we are really lacking one main strike bowler so we needed to make extra runs to compete against australia but we just did the opposite and i think also there is some regionalism which is effecting dravid thats why he is agian and agian giving chances to sreesanth he is a good bowler but not that much mature to represent as main bowler of india .where is balaji and ashish nehra can somebody reply ?why are they not considered to be a part of the team for world cup .people thinks that the place in the indian team is for sale .like earlier venugopal rao was given so many chances even after failing to perform in one day cricket can somebody tell me why he was given so much chances there are better options in the line .he dont deserve to play in international squad .
really this is very bad time for indian team , the team does not have the winning combination , the caoch , captain,also player, & the plans, all thats are only syfre, & for creating the new ideas , require firstly olny new elven guys,may be possible thats person doent have experince of internationallable , but ur coach have the internatioan caoching ideas & winning determanation,
the second things , stop all modeling contact of players , they earn only winning amount& in position of lose , they willbe not get a single money.
in last if any player fails continue in three times of the lables , than thats defenatley shoul be out of the team.
I believe its simply because of too much experimentation and the fear in the Indian team of losing a slot in the team which is stopping them from playing their natural game. Most of the players in the Indian sqad are quite experienced and they should motivate their younger team mates to play their natural game. And thats exactly what Saurav did as a captain. He is the player who is behind all the new players who have been performing in need. My suggestion is, keep politics out of the game. Believe me, every viewer has lost its faith in the India team now and no one gets excited to watch Indian team play. The zeal is completely gone. How many people you will find who will now bunk classes, cancel travel plans or take a day off i office to see India play? You will find that 9 out of 10 will say no. Lets think about it and let the team management and the players think about it......(I doubt whether they understand what people think now...)
i feel if we compare our team with other good teams like australia and south africa we are really lacking a main strike bowler specially considering world cup zaheer khan has already been selected but where is lakshmipathy Balaji he can really make a difference in world cup he is experienced and anytime better than other bowlers in the squad like sreesanth and RP singh they cant be given preference over Balaji and Ashish Nehra and batting taking kaif is not worth it dinesh mongia or laxman are better players and in the political mess up we will lose chances of winning world cup .this sitation of the team is really pathetic we are not using the right man at right place and we will realise this after losing world cup for sure.
After seeing the way so Called "Team India " facing the crushing defeat to Australia in do-or-die match in ICC Champion Trophy i think we need to revamp the team totally for the world cup 2007,in my view sehwag should be given total rest from playing international games for 2 to 3 months frm now, the decline in his batting started after hitting triple century in test match against pak in pak.series 2yrs back at that time he made a statement saying that its simple for him to hit double century in ODI's and from that date his decline in batting continues till date and still he enjoys playing without any scoring runs.every member is not permenant in team and should be shown door when not performing in feild, the way the present coach and board shown the door to ganguly.Dravid should be more aggressive as captain the way ganguly used to be,and vice-captain should be given to laxman or kumble now its the time to bring back "Laxman,Balaji,Zaheer,Nehra,ganguly,kumble",into the team.We need to preform as a unit to win the world cup in 2007 not as individual
