It is so painfull to digest India's loss. But the fact is the Indian's were 100% capable of winning.
I can see some main reasons for the loss:
Lack of thinking on the part of bowlers(should I say Dravid,my favourite batsman, but poor captain). The bowlers(especially seamers) thought it was necessary to take early wickets especially against Australia, and bowled without control, giving lots of extras and boundaries. But the simple formula for winning after posting a competetive score was to just make as difficult as possible to make runs for the Aussies.
Dravid clearly misses out in his smartness on the field.
The way Saurav Ganguly was shown door, it is not worthy to discuss Cricket on affirmative note any more. After all, we still harp on foreign conscience, whereas the talents are destroyed at the behest of some politicians in the board. Thank God! I lost interest in Cricket these days and hope to revive it only after Greg Chappell is shown the door. I believe India is not doing very well in their recent outings. I shall not wonder!
If Indians maintained their run rate in the middle overs they definetely reached above 280 and it would be some what tuff for australia , even we could win it and bowling must be improved.
Just kick greg out-rahul will play with a free mind and lead India to victory- and please replace Suresh Raina-maybe we can try out someone like Ravinder Jadeja or some other talented youngster
India cannot become world beaters because they do not value their heroes. They do not respect their own colour and hire white men to coach the teams. They do not even know the national anthem of the country and only fix matches to make crores of rupees for themselves. They can never be world beaters because they are not patriotic indians. They never ever play for the country but just for a place in the team. They are selfish and don't give a damn about others.
To make india world beaters,i jus think their is only one way that is then have to learn how to play their cricket.The reason Indain crcket is not capable of beating big teams is bcoz they dont play with a zeal as pakistanies and other teams play and quality is also missing in india team sear for some quality players, root level of the cricket is dull, i mean domestic cricket and the most important thing there r lot of politics.And these politics effects the sports badly.so these things have to be changed.All these areas have to covered then only inda can be a world beaters one day.
These are the points , I would like to implement in Team India. 1-Ask for resignation from Guru Greig Chappel. 2-Include Sourav Ganguly in team and give him rein of Team India in his hadn again till the world cup. 3-Appoint John Right as a coach 4-Leave Ganguly free and let him apply his own skill in execution of team. Don't forget that he has been one of the most successfull captain of India. He has ability, aggretaion and passion to win.
