Another 3 months to go to world cup. In this situation there is only one way to strengthen the team to beat any of the team incld Aussies. As we see the batting performance, now all are struggling to score even 30-40 runs in SA pitches. The sacking of players will not be a correct decision since the new players instead get in to the team is not an advisable one since the less time avail. Now all the players needed is freedom to bat on their own way what they were performed earlier and should be get boosted instead of blame. Due to the frequent changing of batting position all were lost their confidence level ex in the case of Irfan pathan. I think if sachin bat well then all other players would get confidence to win. so hereafter leave the Sachin to bat on his own style what he prefers. And Dhoni should get in to 1 down if first batting and 4th or 5th down if chasing. Finally the tail enters (bowlers) have to try to stand long time in the crease while the opening/middle slot fails to perform.
I have no hope team India can win in world cup because now our team is too weak. Dravid is good but as a captain he is not good.
Pls compare ganguly and Dravid Ganguly has more ability and ideas( brain work ) in play. But Dravid take no braain work amd ability in captain roll.

In this top bats mans we have four bowlers. we can utilise their ability in ODI. for last 4 persons select from bowlers

India~s poor performance with mainly we should blame all our top class Batsmen thats shewag,dravid,tendulkar,and Dhoni secondly why to take 02 spinners where kumble and harbhajan both are leg spinners we can use tendulkar/shewag. 3rd..it is a good idea to bring back our leader thats dada saurav gangully as a captain where rahul doesnt deserve that spot,we agree he is a good player.
Firstly i think sehwag is of no use for the team , he should be removed . indians are losing wickets first 15 overs very soon , they should not do it .I think so coming as opener for Dhoni is the best . They have to bowl well like australians who is dependent on bowlers like Mcgrath ,Brettlee , Shane watson , Nathan Bracken . I think so india should need a bowling coach. Sometimes Dhoni bat's well and goes on for a waste shot that is no need of that shot at that time .The middle order has to perform well when the openers fail to perform well, I mean that they has to take singles and increase the score well .When the openers have failed to perform the indians will bat in a way that they will not take singles atleast 4 in a over .Firstly they have to take singles more . the indians will never take singles more and they will dependent on four's only . The bowlers also need to score runs atleast 25 ,when the main batsman failed to perform . See the australian bowlers they will bat also if they lose the main wickets . The indians have to get aware that if they did not bat well,10%of money should be removed . Firstly they should not come in advertisements, so that they will play .
To become world beaters, (for e.g. Australia)is not an easy job as it seems to be. There is an urgent need to pay attention to the 'fielding and batting' at the moment. A lot of cases of misfielding have been noticed in the recently terminated SA ODI Series and batting is not on the track.
Since, senior players like VVS and Ganguly have been called in , will do something beneficial to the collapsing Team India. But that doesn't mean, that the other players should remain calm. They too should come up with excellent performances for the team's improvement and aggressive counter attack. As per my calculation, the order for the Test series agnst. SA should be as follows:
Opening pair: Jaffer and Dravid Then 3rd: Tendulkar 4th: VVS, 5th: Sourav, 6th: Sehwag, 7th:Irfan,8th:Dhoni,9th: Zaheer and 10th: Munaf
The players should try, not to return to the pavilion in the 1st 10-12 overs. Thats the only thing left to be suggested now!! The formation of basic strong foundation will surely work wonders and make India world beaters. Then that very foundation will experience a glorious era of sparkling, golden victories.

I agree with one of the message here given by Mr.Rajesh, that Chappel is actually helping the cause of Australia to become world champion. Ever since he has come on scene, he has been more involved in becoming a power centre rather then helping the team in any way. Remove him and you remove the first hurdle.
Secondly, the team India has to be mentally prepared and keep their morale high. There should be determination to stick around and play the game in its natural way, bowling to a line & length and according to the batsman and field placement. It calls for lot of imagination by the captain and bowler. The fielders need to have better reflexes just like any other international team today.
The batting should have the stability to stay around, at the same time keep the score board ticking. These fundamentals together with a fire to win will certainly keep the Indian Team flying high.
