In my opinion initially it is necessary that Saurav should come back to Indian Team and there is no doubt, Dada is a best Captain. He knows well how to handle the team? i think only Data's decision can make India world champion and all the people knows this fact. The India squad should be : Saurav Ganguly(Captain), Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Mohd. Kaif, M. S. Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, Jaheer Khan. Now question is batting order. Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar should open Because Sehwag knows well how to use the powerplay and there is no doubt that Sachin is the best batsman in the world and can play with a strike rate more than 100. Now after one wicket Data should come to bat than Dhoni, Rahul, Yuvraj, Kaif, Raina, Pathan, Bhajji and Jaheer. I am 100 sure if this team play for India no team can defeat us.Now question is that who will bowl for 20 Overs We should not forget that Sachin, Sehwag and Yuvraj are also best spin bowler they can esily bowl for 20 overs. It may be I am wrong so please suggest me in my thinking.Byeee

Dear Mr. Amit, Do you want Indian team to play with 10 players? If Sourav Ganguly is unable to make scores in County cricket or Domestic cricket how he will score in Internatonal level. No doubt he was a great player and most successful captain of India, but looking into today's form, he doesn't deserve to be in Indian team. as a captain he may far better than Rahul, but a captain should perform by himself also. 3)4 hitters/all rounders/best at fielding like yuvraj,dhoni,kaif,..(i feel raina is just best at fielding n he is not up2the mark when comes2batting neither bwlin instead why not use him jus for da fielding ??when kaif was used only for fielding in number 12..y not him?jus fielding for india is any insult????god sake its a great job he is doin for INDIA!!!!!)

a)we were good at spin!but don we feel its no more?when bajji is not confident in himself why dropping kumble when he is a performer?????when comes2ODI's we need2control score rate i agree bt wat about taking wickets at da right time??do v have any one good player like shane warne who is a terror 4the bats men?apart from kumble matter of fact we have none!may b bajji is a good bowler but he is actually lacking confidense in himself.performing jun1 series is that enough for our country to satisfy ourself?
b)next comes fast bowlers.....is irfan patan a bowler or a batsmen?where are our bowlers?there is no bowln attact..good ones r droppd!y?
Like Dilip vengsarkar says we have limited options.
Lets drop the useless erstwhile champions and add new blood to the team. though they might lose initially we can try with them for some days and get back to business. Thats what we are trying all these years right?
I have to say it's a painful story,responsibility goes to bcci,selection committy,players,coach.we try to make some positive results.everyone should discuss this issue soon.otherwise team india will sink in west indies next year thanks BINU SAHADEVAN FROM QATAR
My list of changes that I would bring up in our Indian Team: 1. Mr. Greg Chappell goes out of the Indian team, first. At his price, BCCI can afford to have separate fast bowling, spin bowling, batting and fielding coaches. Since no complex strategies /experimentations will be further involved, the need for psychologists will also be eliminated. 2. Dravid has to start using his brains (by just not doing what coaches like Greg Chappell have to say). He cannot play 4 seamers on spinning and slow Indian tracks. This is when the full-time 4 seamers cannot complete their quota of overs and the part-time spinners along with Harbhajan Singh bowling close to 25 overs. If he cannot use his brains, he remains in the team as THE WALL only. 3. Bring a new full-time opener in the playing 11 like Gautam Gambir, along with Sachin. 4. Bring back Laxman at no. 3 and Dravid at no. 4. Ocassionally, interchange the order with Dravid at no. 3 and Laxman at no. 4. 5. Raina goes out of the team, second (but only after Greg Chappell has gone, we must first ensure that Greg Chappell goes). mr.karthik.....stop degrade talk about ganguly.....dravid n chappell is a real cheaters....check out the last oneday of ganguly played in harare vs newzealand....ganguly made 31 of 44 balls....at the sametime the great wall dravid made duck out......then the last test match played by ganguly was quiet good...he score 34 and 37 respectively.....in the same test the great dravid score 3 and 2 respectively........But now ganguly dropped.....wat tge hell politics going...mr.dravid is too good to play politics.....(with kiran more supports)....now it doesnt happen again.....india started to loses the tendency in dravids camp.....vendsarkar please choose ganguly again....we feels so bad to watch cricket without ganguly.....
