1) Please take back VVS Laxman at once in to the team. 2) Remove raina. 3) Bring back kaif. 4)Open bowling with sreeshant and Munaf. 5) Let pathan be third seamer,dont give him new ball. 4) Depending on type of pitch decude between agarkar or romesh pawar. 5) Keep the batting order like this 1)Sachin 2)Shewag 3)Laxman 4)Yuvraj/Dravid (Depending on situation) 5)Dravid/Yuvraj (Depending on situation) 6)Dhoni 7)Kaif 8)Phatan 9)Agarkar/Powar( depending on type of pitch) 10)Sreeshant 11) Munaf
I think with the present level India can never beat the world. The Indian players especially the middle order and Sehwag are so involved in ads n all that they have least priority for cricket. THe bowlers have no pace, bad line and no control. The batsmen(all at the same time) are running through poor form coz they have no confidence and less interest. Many of the so-called star batsman have a permanent place in the team and dont bother if they play or not. Our coach does not help the cause with too much experimenting and just ruined a team which had a good composure. Pathan who was a above average bowler who can bat above average has become a below-average batsman who happens to bowl coz nobody else is there in the team to bowl... Overall India has lost it and it seems God alone can help them..
let the players stop advertisements, come out of their personal egos, who ever it may they have to play for the country, not for him self, even the selectors to drop a person if he is failing in 3 consiquent matches, not to consider on his past history of more ten years
Sir, On above subject, my only opinion is in one dayers we have to concentrate on all rounders..like Australia, South Africa & Pakistan..their batting line up looks awesome...we have to give lot concentration on batting line up..as either 3 or 5 bowlers the score board will tick according to pitch as other teams have strong batting line up...my eleven will be something like below for world cup.
1.Sehwag (can bowl)(subs. Gambhir) 2.Tendulkar (can bowl) 3.Dravid 4.Yuvraj ( can bowl) 5.Kaif ( can field & also bowl not tested at intl'. level)(subs.Raina) 6.Dinesh Mongia ( all rounder) 7.Dhoni (all rounder) 8.Irfan ( all rounder) 9.Harbhajan (subs.Powar) 10.Munaf Patel (subs. Sreeshanth) 11. Zaheer (Subs.Balaji&Nehra)
Not to pick too many bowlers for one dayers...just keep batting line up strong we can win matches easily.
first select the team which has capactiy to play big guns.never ever depend on great players like sachin shewag or pathan.pick the squad who have scored run or got wicket.remove player for one faliure also.donot take record as there performance.beacuse this will give option for more player and at we can find good set at dependable player .
Team India!! first of all both Rahul and Chappel should know what does a team mean exactly, what r the goals and objectives of the team,what it takes to blend people of different cultures together,their motives,their strength and weeknesses etc etc.. secondly the team as a whole should have a decentralized structure i.e off the field the coach should make important decisions with captain players while on the field it should be inly rahul who should take the decisions along with other senior pros like sachin,sehwag,yuraj. it seems thtt coach chappel does interfere a lot in the decision making process ,tht too during the match. he should give some freedom to rahul.he should allow him to take his own decisions atleast on field.we dont want a coach like javed miandad.such a kind of coach is threatning to the team. it lowers the team morale and increases the pressure on players. third thing is rahul should start learning frm his mistake.he doesnt have leadership qualities like saurav.but he should learn to take his own decisions instead being a puppet in chappels hand. the last and the most important thing.WHAT IS SACHIN TENDULKAR DOING?? he should support and assist rahul
we have the best batting line up in the world which can on their day tear apart even the great australian bowlers only thing wht they require is to remove their mental block and remember their days when they use to tear the opponent bowling ...just come back n everything will be fine
