As a fan, I would rather like ýto watch the matches of Pakistan, Sri Lanka (of course not the rude Aussies!). India ýwas doing a good job during Gangully's regime. He has got the ability to lead and ýcompare to the present team, has got determination as well. But its history, and its ýtime to find talented young players from the 200crores. What was Kiran More's ýcontribution when he was playing for India? What was the ability he has to become ýthe selection committee chairman? ý

during our last matches the only aggressive player with good body language and performed with bat and ball was harbhajan singh. he troubled the batsmen and his bat flowed like a hitter. rest of our so called world class batsmen did not have any guts to go over the top of any field. apart from tendulkar dravid munaf yuvraja kaif dhoni harbhajan change the whole team. include batsmen like jaffer ( opening with tendulkar ), robin uttapa ( 1 down ), dravid 2 down, yuvraj 3 down, replace raina with kaif 4 down, d.mongia 5 down, dhoni 6th, harbhajan 7th, then comes the four bowlers specialist with speed of 85 mph consistently. the batsmen will do the task of reaching the score to 250-275 and the bowlers shuld do the rest. we shuld find bowlers as australia has done. apart from mcgrath see the bowlers like bracken, watson, johnson, symonds, all one day specialists and accurate. take lessons from world class team. cricket has changed so shuld the coach, selectors, players everyone.
guys we actually need to change the approach of our team. they should not play to save the match but to win. secondly tendulkar should not open in crunch matches. at least against australia. i think if gambhir and sehwag opens and tendulkar comes at second down. the team will change dramatically. same way if we found swing in the air then pathan should open the bowling. otherwise munaf and sreesanth should open. agarkar is good with old ball. and please dont say that we should bring ganguly back as a captain. i will never forget a match against australia in nagpur. when the curator didnt cut the grass ganguly revealed he is injured and will not play the match. same thing happened in pakistan. though we won the series against pakistan under dravids vice captaincy. just a few wins, change of approach and minor batting order adjustments can bring the glory.
It is wrong and foolish on the part of Wright to issue such statements. The world knows Rahuls credentials as a Captain. Had Saurav being playing well, he would have continued to captain the team. Everyone knows that for before Sauravs exit for long we were playing with 10 players and a captain. Beside Saurav had the ever dependable Rahul and a relatively matured bowling attack. Excepting for Pathan and Harbajan we have a new crop of bowlers who are being nurtured. Among the new crop R P Singh has been miserable. Again except for Yuvraj, Sehwag and Sachin have not shown the consistency and a big let down on crucial occasions and have taken their places for granted leaving players like Robin Uthapa and Gautam Gambhir in the lurch.
