Currently, every player has lost the passion to play, lost the zeal to win. Selectors have to take few tough decisions... KICK OUT SACHIN for few matches or send him & Sehwag lower down the order. Once these so called senior players are humiliated like that, then they will take the responsibility.
What this bl**dy Dravid is doing ? Standing at the slip and letting the oppositions to dominate ? He never motivates the team. India needs an aggressive captain...call back Ganguly.
A great article from Akram. What he says is right. I think its time for the selectors to get back Ganguly and its nice to hear that Laxman will be back in the playing 11 for the SA series. In place of Raina and Kaif, get Ganguly and Venugopal Rao into the side. Both (Raina\'s and kaif\'s) are becoming the worst performers nowadays. I think its better we have a bowling coach (it could be kapil or wasim akram or any gr8 bowler) so that the bowling will become rock solid. Please please do not criticise Chappell in any way. He is not the one who is playing in the middle. Its all upto the playing 11 to do with the match. I think its too late for the BCCI for not appointing a quality bowling coach. I request all the politicians to look into the development of the country in some other way instead of concentrating on cricket.
I am 100% supporting to akrams comments. at this moment of time Laxman and Ganguly are very very important to the team. I don't know what the youngsters (batsmen) are doing for the team, I think they are only for FIELDING. This is ridiculous to have feilding purpose placements in the team.
akram has hit the nail on the head. our bowlers are looking absoloutely old. they dont even seem to have certain game plans going in to the matches. they are just runing & bowling. india has to reshuffle its batting order if it has to win even think of sachin at no 4. wasim jaffer can open with segwag with dhoni batting much higher up the order. sachin i think is confused in what he wants to do. we need ganguly back as captain. are the selectors listening. god save india
I agree with Akram, Sachin should attack, there is nothing to loose and when he starts attacking no bowler can stop him. Also i want to add that Dravid waits for the things to happen, he should make the things happen.
There is no doubt that Sachin has gone into a shell.Except one or two occassions,his batting is not at all like Sachin.If lara can bat at his age, why not Sachin!I only wait with hopes that Sachin will click now.Yes,he has to come out of his self indicted shell and show he still can be a dada to any bowlers!Come on Sachin, you have to play at least two to three years! Do justice to Sachin Tendulkar. You are our greatest battesman of all times.You don\'t have to prove anything. We want you just play with your own rithm!
If pathan is not coming to you, as a pathan yourself, go to him,hold his ears, and tell him to rectify his bowling action!Being a senior, you just cannot say he is not coming to you.Come on Akram, we don\'t expect this from you!
akram is spot on in this article. i cant help but agree with him about how the standard has stooped to a level where they have to think about removing the ODI status for the indian team for a while before they can get their act together. too many people getting injured and the rest have no clue about playing outside india. imagine if this was an aussie tour!!!! i dont want to put the whole blame on chapell. chapell or church, if the players dont perform in the middle, even dronacharya cant help it. stop screaming for chapell's head and ask the players to go out there with a killer instinct than to just do something ok. listen to pointing and mcgrath, they want to be the best just not good enough. unless they get that attitude, we can forget the rest of this tour.

Yes Absolutely, Correct Akrams Decision. Once upon atime 1 sachin belongs to 2 Sehwags but now it is totaly Changed the way of batting Style, Balling & etc. of sachin When Sachin will be back as previous form then he can show good performance. So, Many People saying that Sachin is God, but now he is Very bad. no. of People saying if sachin in Team compulsory Team India will Won But now it is Opposite lIke dada. no. of dissmissals of Sachin Each and every bowlers. Previous days he doesn't gave any Chances for is Dismissals to most Professional bowlers but now every body is taking his Wicket easily.
I guess Sachin needs to change his gear to attacking mode. He achieved everything and got nothing to lose! His problem is not in his technique, it is just in his head! He is one of the best in technique.
I think he needs support from the fans, some slogan or something to get going... Something like 'Go Sachin Go!'
