I Believe Indian Team has lost the momentom they are lacking confidence,and attacking cricket.wasim is on the target he is right that senior player like sachin ,dravid should have played solid innings to overcome the situation ,inwhich they are.Ganguly is an aggressive player he should be back to the team so that you have a batsman with aggression and lot of experience as well .as far as bowling is concern bowlers should do full length bowling with bouncers and yorkers .Now 2 ODI's left india will have do something so save little bit pride of there country .
My message is to the Indian Team and Selectors is that to go just behind and see the results of India in australia where they had Bruce Reed as their bowling coach. He devloped Irfan Zaheer Balaji and Nehra so I request the selectors to lok upon for a bowling Coach if so recall Bruce Reed as he also devloped the Zimbabve team at that time
i totally agree with akram, is this type of gully cricket palying continues then its death for sachin n sehwag. i find both of them become history very soon. like srikkanth sachin has stopped his aggressiveness, ita not due to age factor its due to pressure put by the coach, captain and the team at large. sachin must be left free to do what he is best for. he has to stop beinf defensive and be attacking from the first ball he faces. im sure he wants to continue like before and he has no fear of injury putting him down. brave warriors dnt have fear of small things.
Bingo! Wasim Akram is bang on the spot as far as India's performance is concerned. However, I do not agree with his suggestion of calling back Ganguly and VVS Laxman. Suggestion to the Indian team... please stop playing cricket till they get into form. They are just putting the country to shame in the name of cricket!
Akram speaks like a true professional when he diagnoses the Indian team, despite being on the otherside of the fence all his playing life. He couldn't be more right abt Sachin. The reason Lara is hailed as the best batsman today, or Ponting the most influential is simply due to their dominating spirit inthe game, unlike Sachin, who is more a tortoise in the shell than a lion in his den. Shame on him!
Wah! Akram.n He said what I wanted to say.Akram has said the fact. Irfan is no longer what he was a year ago. Indian Batting can at best be compared with Bangladesh now. Sourav Ganguly is only 34. There is lot of cricket left in him. If you consider form of a cricketer Gangul should be no2 after Dravid. Sehawag, Kaif, Tendulkar, Mogia and the res, what are they doing. Is Ganguly's form is as bad as theirs? It is rotten politcs that kept the Bengal Left Hander away from Cricket Field, the finest Left hander India produced and of course the Chappel spat too.
To me more than the Test matches, Ganguly should have been in the One dayers. VVS Laxman's inclusion in the death is stage is atleast welcome. God save Indian Cricket
I believe what Akram has to say is perfect..I dont know whether Laxman is a good bet..but Saurav definitely is...he just needs a match to regain his international class back...Sehwag and Kaif have been given enough chances...we have to seek a real good replacement atleast for Kaifs Position..this guy luks too scared a player...he cant even play a fast game if he has to...I think Gautam Gambhir should be brought back as a replacement for Kaif and should open the innings with Sehwag and Sachin should bat lower down like Lara..maybe no 4...Indian Team desperately has to work on all of Wasim Akrams Suggestions...Cant believe they ignore Ganguly when they dont even have a better batsmen than him..India if this continues..World Cup luks far far far away....Worried Indian Fan..
You should attack the bowlers. You and sehwag only can bring the charm and winning spirit in the team. You should not be in the defencive mode. we want 18 yr sachine again.
