the politicos are like crabs in the society...represent and reflect the mindset of those who can do nothing, and can only irritate...quite sadistic if you observe closely.
on the other, Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar, blokes about whom I have no doubt should get a little more decisive..I truly think Chappell was a bad idea for us...again the result of the same mindset of inferiority complex.
Why are you still writing reports? cricket is no more a game in India..with the commercial nexus of Pawar and Lalit Modi, I think Dalmiya was at least a good administrator who did not interfere with the players and the game.
Off late our sport celebrities, especially cricketers focus more on advertisement/glamour world to make a fast buck. Can't our government impose a rule to say that a person from one field should not get into another field? This would help the specialist of one field to have a better focus in their own field and should not be a hindrance to others of that of that field. Like sports people restrict themselves to sports, film stars should not get into advt. fields and advt. field should be exclusively for models. This would provide equal opportunity for everyone.
It is something similar to ministers/parliamentarians should not hold on to any organization that generates revenue.
By imposing this rule, I strongly feel Indian cricketers will have a better focus, work hard to retain their place and the overall performance would improve.
Now that SharadPawar has sent Dilip Vengsakar to South Africa, Dilip please put on your pads and get ready to bat for India as you are required more as a batsman than as a selector!!!
