USELESS PATHAN
by Rajesh on Dec 26, 2006 12:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its the right move to send back him as he is such a nasty guy wasting other promising players oppurtunities and career. I hate him from beginning in such a way that i stopped using all the products advertised by him. becuase he always lacked the confidence and was hyped like another Kapil Dev. where is Kapil's excellency and him?.

Congrats and Hats of to Indian Cricket Board and Team for throwing out such a waste Player....................

Looks like Pathan is more than a cricketer to you. Many will wonder if there's something personal you hold against him. You sound like a cry-baby when you talk like that about a player who has done better than most of his contemporaries. Stop spewing venom for someone who's doing for his country what you will probably just dream about in your entire lifetime. Look at the statistics, ask the experts, and listen to what the cricketing world has to say about him, and you will know which side of the bars the idiot is sitting.

Rajesh,
You are lucky that your message has been displayed. But this type of personal hatred cannot be encouraged. You know better why you dislike Pathan.
But your statement that Pathan never had confidence is simply not correct. Check his statistics.
He will bounce back.

I think peoples like you are useless. We have seen even Mr. Sachin on his Knees in pakistan and what other players are doing is well known to every body. You can have your expert opinion with yourself and better doesnot spoil others spirit.

It is not the right way to send Pathan back as he is a promising & successful all rounder . Presently so many players r going through bad patch like Tendulkar , v shewag . can U send them back ?

I think it should not be only for Pathan/Shewag/Jaffer.. BCCI should focus on the players who are continuously failed to perform. And they should always play the domestic crickets to maintain the consistency and performance. Rather players like Sachin/Dravid r out of form. They should be send back too.

Mind it one thing there is WORLD CUP !!!!!!!!!!!!!! the gr8 event is knocking at the door...

yeah i'm agree with u on Tendulakar's point if he has spoken infront of media that now he is not able to play same as he was then why we r keeping him in team (if lara can terrorise to all team then why this idiot saying he is having age!!). if he is hvaing age then why Dilip vengsarkar not advising him to call his day off!!

for your kind info.....sachin tendulkar might not have been the same he was 10 years ago, but even today, at the moment, ever since he bounced back into team from the injuries he is the most successful bastman in the Indian team. I dont know what you mean by 'bad patch'. Look at the last 10 matches and see who has fared well.

It's good for Pathan to improve on his weakness and make comeback with improved enduring killers' instinct in bowling front.

I wish him all the best for his comeback.

Career is not one series failure or retired hurt in one inning.

I am of the view that he has been granted with opportuinity to learn from the repeated mistakes and sharpen his baisc skills.

Rewards & Risk comes on the way of performers ... they always get a chance to prove themselves.

On Jaffer & Shewag ? They may not get chance at all.

Irfan's rehabilitation
by Shamoon Girkar on Dec 26, 2006 12:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think thats a good move by the Indian thinktank. As this will give Irfan an oppurtunity to brush his skills up rather just sitting on the sidelines, he can play domestic cricket, anlayise his past videos and see what wrong he is doing currently.

It is totally wrong to send him back in the middle of a test series. There are others, especially batsmen in woeful form let off scotfree and a bowler who scored a hundred in warm up game is sent back packing. It does not augur well for the future.Surely he should bounce back and hope this move does not demoralise him.

pathan should take it very positively and bounce back like Zaheer and Ganguly, and prove his mettle
and why only pathan the team management should also send back Virendra Sewag as batsman is unable to get in form from past few series and why the management is not thinking about him?

Sachin is thought upon as a god. But this guy has time and again proved he harnesses negetive thoughts about his own very business. The way he batted on the day 4, it sent a message that SA bowling was unplayable, and he dig a deep hole. He hardly thought of scoring any runs for the team and seems to have convinced his caption to do the same. Though later Kartik batted well without much problems on the same pitch and on the same day. Time sachin be given Psyco treatment or rested for a while. This is not first instance that India has lost when Sachin Tendulkar leads his team to doubts and hole.

It does shatter the morale of the player .However it is completely right to send the player back on work in the domestic matches to regain confidence with the less /equally talented player.

U r right....Dis is d best thing 2 hav happened 2 Irfan....Players like him n Sourav must play id they r in d squad......no point in having them watching idly in d pavilion.....Sehwag must b asked 2 play a few domestic matches too......But 4 Sachin, his contribution 2 d team stretches beyond scoring runs or taking wickets.....His presence brings tremendous confidence 2 d team....So Sachin must continue being in d team as long as he is fit 2 play.....

If it is any player not touch with in his performance
then it should be right way.

but if your are giving other player to chance then
dont injustice with other.

I personally think it is very good thinking of whole team and captain.

But same treatment other also if shewag, sachin or lower order batsman, bowler.

Its a right decesion that Irfan has been sent back to India. I strongly appeal for Shewag also to send back to India. Already he had given so many chances.

And of course i too agree that every player should be band for playing in commercial advertisements. That is the only way we can make them to concentrate only on Cricket :)

First of all Cricket Board should stop commercial advertising of every player. They are earning enough through Cricket. Because of extra activities they are not able to concentrate. Instead of doing practice you will find them on different sets or different launches.

Secondly the team selection should be on rotation basis. Every newcomer should get chance & every old player like Kaif, Yuvraj, Harbhajan, Sanjay Bangar, Rohan Gavaskar, Ritender Sodhi, Parthiv Patel, Dinesh Mongia,Romesh Powar etc. should get a chance.

pathan and sehwag should get back to india for more local cricket because what they loose will not be back in net practice they have to play in matches

we should also monitor the planning and strategy of the Indian coach.because he is from Australia and he may anticipte that the India is only team who will be create challenge to Aus.and he may try to disturb the team by vigourous changes.
