Irfan Pathan is indias great bowler.He is now playing like allrounder.Now he lost his pace hence he could not bowl very well but he bat very well.He has to play in the current test series against South Africa
No..board has demoralise the budding cricketer..infact, he is the eligible allrounder in Team India...In last practice matches in South Africa he batted better than batsmen in the squad..either way he is going to deliver the results for the good of the team..then, why particularly bowling is seen in case of Irfan..? And other side in onedayers they tokk 2 wicket keepers..? Why..? because Karthich can bat..right..? Then this diffrent attitude with this talented cricketer..?
Loss of form is quite natural for all cricketers...see other teams..they do not drop all rounders..like Shoiab Malik, Abdul Razzaq, Mahmood and many more.
Team India needs allrounders for onedayers...and we have only 3 allrounders in the squad..i.e. Irfan, Sehwag & Yuvraj...and we have to bring many allrounders instead of dropping them.
The move is good and it should be applicable to all the players weather senior or junior. everyone should get two chance after that others should get the chance coz many are in queue.They are representing country so it is a question of country's prestige and no one is above the country. I find that our cricket netas are given to knee jerk reactions and also to childish in their behaviour to earn praise for themselves to show how they are 'professionals' in their decision making. They forget that they are supposed to BUILD up and MOULD a team and no SHATTER its morale by taking such STUPID decisions - like they did with Ganguly
It is correct to adopt this method to all who are in decresing form to rebuild thier confidence by perseverence & thr thier practical trining with out affecting the test team. If they are contiuing with out taking part in the match that also awaste . Like ganguli either they should be droped or asked to chage to runchitrofys so that they better re work , build confidence , correct any mistakes & once agin try to come back. The path to success is not always easy. Hatrick in the first match is history and we can no longer depend on history as we have a tough job in hand. It may disappoint the player but it sure sends the message to other players "PERFORM or PERISH". One person can be sacrificed for Billion people. Ofcourse Pathan should also take this positively and regain his form. He should break open the doors of international cricket and not just knock it....
