I am agreeing with this decision as of now because word cup is coming very soon.... thats why we have to consider team performance along with individual performance. If will not use this technique this moment and will give the chance to new emerging player then it would be big mistake for Indian Team.

Yaa it was a right move to send pathan back. He was mentally and physically down especially in bowling dept and need to comeback before World cup.Its good that he gets some bowling options in Ranji and come back with a bang.
this is the right way to begin with, this r the singnals issued to all players to be aware for they r paid for, their not just playing for country they r being paid for it, work hard and prove urself if u want to represent india, india is not a althou falthou country, be proud to indian and to represent india
This is not fair at all.If you apply this with everyone,we can understand that BCCI is doing a fair job.In my opinion,the same applies with Mr. Shewag as well. Since he is a senior player and very close to Coach,you cannot afford to do so with him.His batting is much worse than Irfan's boiling.
It wasn\\\\\\\'t right to send Pathan back to India without allowing him to play a single test match.
The whole team had played like school boys in the One day series.If Pathan was out of form , why was he not sent back along with other players like Agarkar, Dinesh Mongia, etc...So it is to be doubted whether he is sent back only for the reason of \\\\\\\'out of form\\\\\\\'?
