Cricket has become a very murky affair.Nothing to be proud of our Indian team.I wonder why Pathan was the only one chosen to be sent home when the whole team was involve in their embarassing losses/wins.Cricket is a team game and all the players are accountable.Why single out one players among the bunch of loosers.Someone somewhere is viciously wicked and responsible.Why not send the whole team back and pick a new bunch of players to represent the country.
Absolutely spot on decision, there is very little chance of Pathan playing any of the tests in SA with Munaf / VRV available. It makes a lot of sense for him to play and get back to form rather than carry drinks. Excellent decision by the team management, Vengsarkar seems to be making tough decisions very well.
BCCI should have sent back Virendra Sehwag back instead of Irfan Pathan. How long can we tolerate Sehwag's lack of form? It appears that partiality and power lobby is still working in BCCI. May GOD give wisdom to selectors to be professional, ompartial and apply uniform yardstick to all.
They did right to send Pathan back. No performance - no place in team. The only thing is, its a long journey to return back home, they should have sent Sehwag alongwith him to give him some company.... ;)
Look if anyone hv to be back to india then it's the whole team not only irfan.We must not forget the past performence of indian team.One victory should not be the full result of whole year.
Well it need not have that abrupt with Irfan Pathan, yes he has had a lack of form but seemingly the only thing that Viren Shewag has is only lack of form , why cannot be he be called back in the middle of the tour also. Yes viru has had some good innings int eh past and so has irfan. In the current series Irfan seemingly has more runs than shewag and also bowls so where is the logic ????
god bless the Indian team , with their current shape/form and politics I think we should withdraw from the World cup , atleast it will save us some damn face when compared to a first round rout which seems inevitable !!!
