The Sword Must fall on any one one of them! So it is Irfan Pathan who not only brighten india's name and bring Victory for the team by taking several important vickets and batted well when needed. Irfan pathan is the Victim he is not the right person, there is more players who is suffering due to lack of form and confidence although they are only specialist players but Irfan Pathan he is not less then a allrounder So I ask why Irfan Pathan? Why not Sehwag who is totally fail to do as a Wise captain as well.
I hope every one aggres that Irfan lost his form as a bowler, but, look at his batting performance..!!!. I think he should have given a chance to play as a batsmen, when Dinesh Karthik had given an oppertunity, though he is wicket keeper, to play as batsmen why not Irfan ???. Irfan's performance as a batsmen is defenately better than the Mr. Shevag and Mr. Jaffer...
We have wonderful examples in world cricket that, players who enterd the International cricker as bowler and became a good batsmen and vice-versa too. If Iam correct, Sir. Sunil Manohar Gavaskar was a an Off Spinner before he turned as One among the Genus all time greatest batesmen.
as per my knowledge the dicession taken by the indian cricket board is not a right thing, irfan was bowled and batted well in the starting of year'2006 and now he is not in form for this reason team management as taken this type of hasty decession his confidence level also will come down..........iam not happy in the irfans issue.
There is nothing wrong in Pathan being sent back. Rather than trying to make it a controversy, we have to take it for what it really is - a player who has completely lost it and needs to work on his game and he can't do that by sitting on the bench. Our bowling attack is not the best and we can't afford to carry him just for him to work on his game. Hopefully he can get his problems worked out and make a comeback.
No.it's not a right way to send him back. if Indian Captain Dravid is saying that he needs to improve his basics and performance than it's a totally wrong argue.I would like to ask Dravid If he talks about his Performance than why SEHWAG and TENDULKAR is there in Team?????? If such experienced players is not performing they should also be send back to play Domestic Cricket to get their lost performance.
In short i say it's a pathetic statement made by Indian Captain and Team Management.
These things should be started long back, Its not a matter of lossing confidence. They need to feel shame as these guys are giving more time and making more money in modeling insteed of cricket after getting good name and fame.
