certainly it is not a good decision to send him back in the middle of the series. it badly dents his confidence. i think chappel is playing politics with this youngster.
Sehwag is not at all an ideal opener for Tests. Everyone knows this fact and now why he has been kept for a long time in the playing eleven in spite of his bad form falling over an year or so. It gives a clear impression that there is always pressure on BCCI to keep Sehwag in. It was Sehwag who has to be dropped first and not Pathan and atleast this consideration should have been given to Pathan.
I don't know what more can we see in the Indian Cricket. Not only the standard of Player is going down but the Standard of Selectors , Manager is also going down. Not being in form is not the ONLY CRITERIA of judging the performance of the player,But some external source is required to see what is going in the Changing Room.
No that was not at all right to sent Pathan alone back to India some of the other players should follow him which every body knows about. I think this will affect his confidence.
send also m/s sehwag, sachin also, why are they there. they are also Non-Performing Assets(NPAs). I think both these players should NOT be entered into International Cricket for one/two years, then it would serve them right, and would do a lot better to the lovers of indian cricket
