If we want to win worldcup send this team to home and call under 19 team they are more talented, passionted and aggrisive then this team. This team has lost all his aggreation.
This is my 5th message, i m again writing same thing, now people realising, which i have already realised long back, during Ganguly dropped from indian squad. Selectors should give Max. 3 - 4 innings to perform a player either batsman or bowler, if they don't perform well in 4 inns, send them back, go for domestic cricket, give chance to new comers. What Senior players are doing, they just know, that they are not going to thrown out, so they play one good inning and then not performing for next ten innings. When all over shouting for that player (Not performed), then once again he plays one good knock and as usual rest for next 5 -10 inns. This is routin for senior indian cricket players. The Best Example is Virendra Sehwag & Sachin Tendulkar, still don't understand, why both of them are in this team. They played some good innings, on that perfomance, they are still in this team, just taking royality. Lara & Ponting, they are just on the way to pass Sachin, and still Sachin playing knock of Zero, ten, fifty Max. In last ten matched Lara & Ponting performed better than Sachin, age wise both of them improving their class, and sachin failing in his class.

They are not playing cricket for our country they are playing for money through ad agencies. They don't bother as they are playing so called cricket. Media should also know the social responsibility by creating big coverage for their performance as other sports being neglected.

Sending Irfan back does not make any sense. He was, is & will be the best all rounder in today's Indian cricketing scenario. Irfan himself does not know how good he is. Thats the reason he lacks little in confidence now a days. This may be strategy of Indian think tank, not to over expose their best bowler before the world cup. Same for Sachin. He is the best batsman in the world. I don't know how people speak against him. After Sunil Gavaskar, he is the man who has closest to perfect techniques. Yes I agree about Sehwag. His feet are firmly grounded. He tries to hit the ball "khade khade". As long as his reflexes were good, he clicked. Now his reflexes have slowed down. As far as Jaffer is concerned; he has good technique. No doubt about it. However he lacks in reflexes & self confidence. Shiv Sunder Das came very close to Gavaskar, but was unceremoniously dumped away. I think ideal test openers would be Gambhir,S. S. Das. For tests Karthik should be the keeper & for ODIs Dhoni should be the keeper. Harbhajan should be sent back. Instead Ramesh Powar who has better loop & who is orthodox offspinner should be in the team.

Send Sachin "Duck"dulkar back as well. 'PERFORM OR PERISH'. That's the Mantra for everyone. Nobody talks about him!!!!!! How about that? He has been bowled out or LBWed for so many times in the recent past. I see a serious problem there. Footwork, eye sight, whatever it is!
It is high time that these non-performers were sent back to domestic cricket and indeed out of the team if their performance does not improve. Players like Shewag, Tendulkar etc have made a mockery of the team and take their place for granted. The spineless Selection board give them chance after chance so that they come good once in ten matches. Even my granny can come good once in ten matches!
Pathan has been failure as a bowler, but analysing the batting performances of the entire team, Pathan was doing good. He was the only player to have scored a century during the practice match. He could have played as a batsman.
He could have also bowled few overs in the match, which would have brought his confidence back.
Also considering the fact that Zaheer, Ganguly bounced back after lay offs, similarly we are confident that Pathan will also bounce back very soon.
Looking at todays performance every body should come back. We have such huge population we can definitely make another good team who can represent India with the bunch of talents. Normally we ignore the states like Goa, Nagaland, Mizoram, Kerla, Himachal Pradesh etc. We will definitely find good & talented players who have the tendency not to give up from such areas.
First of all Cricket Board should stop commercial advertising of every player. They are earning enough through Cricket. Because of extra activities they are not able to concentrate. Instead of doing practice you will find them on different sets or different launches.
Secondly the team selection should be on rotation basis. Every newcomer should get chance & every old player like Kaif, Yuvraj, Harbhajan, Sanjay Bangar, Rohan Gavaskar, Ritender Sodhi, Parthiv Patel, Dinesh Mongia,Romesh Powar etc. should get a chance.
