when pathan was sent back to india,i was shocked. preferrin v.r.v.singh for pathan just defies the logic. had he played the tests i bet he would have scored more than our combined openers and for sure bowled better than v.r.v. i m a keen observer of cricket. so firmly delare that even experts wont disagree my points..........
Sehwag ,tendulkar and wasim jafer should also be sent along with Irfan. All the players are good in the the ADD flims only.Tendulkar has the most of the world record but what is the use when he is not delivering the things when required. He has not played upto the mark in any of the Finlas.
Especially when you see that he was really batting very well in the practice games and was the top scorer in the last game with a century. Otherwise India would have lost that game pathetically. Secondly they havent got any replacement for him. So the only effect this would have is to shatter his morale. And then they have to send back Sehwag and Tendulkar and Jaffer as well? And make Indian cricket laughable! It is high time we recognized the place of allrounders who could ccntribute either with bat or ball or both.
what nonsense, at least pathan was batting better than so called our batsmans & captain. India has never let any allrounder grow & because of this they will never come up. The worst thing that has happened to indian cricket is chappel. He has completely destroyed the integrity & focus of the team & every player. Let indian selectors also send dravid, jaffer & sehwag to home & practice domestic cricket.
So far in this tour, the bowlers have performed more or less decently whereas the top order batsmen were the failures. so what I feel is pathan should have been considered as a regular batsmen and a part time additional bowler because in this tour pathan was in great touch with the bat and infact he is the only one who has scored a century in this tour. so why not he can replace sehwag or jaffer?
