Yes, it is very correct to send back Irfan to India, at least it is good for him to come back, but I fail to understand why selectors are maintaing double standard if look into Sehwag's performance. Are our selectors afraid of some one...Are they setting correct examples for others.....As far Dilip Vengrasarkar is concerned he should take immediate remedial action as we have now hoping that at least he will do some thing for our team to do better performance.
The decision taken by the management to send back Pathan is correct. He can be cool and think seriously on his line and length. No doubt he can get his form back very soon.
The message appears good and augurs well for the cricket India's future. At the same time, there should not be discremination adopted between the players. Whatever be the policy, it should be applied to one and all, be it Dinesh Kaarthick or Sachin Tendulkar. By keeping the past hall of fame, we are losing the present glory. Cricket India is big enough to find more than one Tendulkars and Sehwags. Let us hope for the best and let us pray for best of players to play for the country.
My personal feel is, with due regard to Dinesh kaarthick's ability with the willow and big glow, Pathan can also be kept as a pure batsman who can be used as a bowler when situation demands like the case of Kaarthick, after all Pathan has proven on this tour itself that he is an able batsman than most of the so called specialist batsmen at the top of the order.
