Dhoni the destroyer
by Alok on Apr 21, 2006 09:46 AM  Permalink

People say Dhoni lacks technique. Sometimes i too think so. If that is so, then its an acheivement of his that without any sound technique he has conquered the world. Just think a more technical Dhoni. Probably he would have conquered the universe had it been played throughout universe.

In one day nothing but results counts. He delivers whenever needed. Thats it. Thats all that counts.

CONGRATS DHONI
by Subhashish Banerjee on Apr 21, 2006 05:57 AM  Permalink

Congrats Dhoni. Keep it up and maintain excellent relationships with Chappel, Dravid and Kiran More unlike what ure predecessor Sourav has done.. To be in the Indian team u need blessings from the trio and not RUNS. In future, if u fail to perform repeatedly like Md kaif ( God forbid) u still can aspire to be in the team if u are blessed by the three musketeers of the Indian Board.

Dhoni No 1
by Anup Baheti on Apr 20, 2006 11:58 PM  Permalink

Dhoni is a really good batsman due to his abilities to hit the ball really hard. He can throw any bowler out of boundaryline. Still he has shown some good batting in the ODI series against England. I think India, at last got a good keeper Batsman.

Dhoni at No. 1
by Samrat Bose on Apr 20, 2006 11:10 PM  Permalink

Congratulations to Dhoni. He has not only made the runs, but more importantly, he has served the team well from his position. In the recent England series, time and again he has been the factor (apart from Yuvraj and Raina) which determined India's victory in the one-dayers. Rankings will vary, but let's just hope he continues to play the way he is at present.
