I really think today the only person really concerned about indian cricket future is Greg Chappell. He is the person who is doing his duty and in India the person WHO FAITHFULLY DOES HIS WORK IS ALWAYS CHECKED OUT. All indian cricketers have earned so much throu advertisement that now they donot take their game seriously , You all say me Since the world cup when or which tournament did india give a satifying result , if it is the no:2 team then they should show it in their performance. Except Zimbabwe, Kenya , Bangladesh i dont think india had even competed with other countries as a team. Sorry to say but i and many indians think that now it is the time to choose players by performance rather than records if india wants to put a fight for 2007 WC
Then what Chappel has said in e-mail is wrong. If that is the case, BCCI must sack the Greg Chappel. this is one sided information as long as Dalmiya is there. This will happen. Mahendra is Dalmiya's puppet. What about Gangully's bad performance. There is no gauge to measure the Ganguly's performance for his bad performance for the last 6 to 8 months. By seeing this news, I think Gangully will be there for another 5 years or more whether he perform or not. Certainly BCCI made Greg Chappel a shape goat.
The continuing war of words between the caoch and the captain really seems to draw attention as to where the standard of cricket by the so players as on date comprises to. If the captain is not fit enough and is not abel to deliver to & at the situation required for he should be outrightly be dropped or asked to sit down and give an chance to other player who may perform much better than the captain or any other player in the team.Our cricket is like our Indian cinema where we have good heroes and heroines and still the movie flops. Our team members should learn from the Australian team members regarding the fitness and putting every energy to play the game irrespective of the result or the situation of the game. even pakistani tema is much better when it comes to perfomance and specially with our team. Look at thefear of our captian when he faces the bowler. He shows that he is not competent to take our team to match winning performance nor has he eveer bothered to perform well. He should ourightly expelled from captainship and asked to play ranji matches prove himself and then only again enter the indian team.
Media will never allow to make an end of the episode and try to create confusion all over for their vested interest ...Why yaar .... whatever had happened had happened...now pl. stop all the nonsense and let the team concentrate to play Cricket not the Politics ...
The result of the BCCI meeting on Chappel-Ganguly issue clearly shows that Dalmiya and Ganguly are greater than Indian Cricket and sentiments of millions of people.Ganguly should have been sacked.
Bcci should answer all the points that has been mentioned by chappell in his mail. Bcci has explained only the point relating to injury and leaving the rest of points relating to souravs attitude. The whole matter is being swept under the carpet and defnitely one day or other it is bound to resurface again. The poor victim is the general public who follow the cricket with great passion
