Dammiya and Ganguli group is number one cheaters
by Ajay Shenoy on Sep 28, 2005 11:08 AM  Permalink

Ganguli is number one cheater and treacherous.

He slow by slow started to remove is enemies.

First of all he targeted Sachin. Have ever seen that senior players (batsmens) stay on boundary line for fielding ? He knows that Sachin is is trump card so he should always take care of him. He always changed his batting orders. He never discussed with Sachine. As per TV discussion we have seen whenever Sachin guide him, Ganguli sidelined him. This is body phycology.

He always make run out when his parter make good runs. If you see that how many time Ganguli run out other players and it is also important that how many times he tried to make run out other players but unfortunatly them could not run out.

In England when we won One days Natwest series then Ganguli went on Kaif. He should know that Kaif was tired. He directly jumped on Kaif. Kaif felled down. I think he had done it purposly. He tried to injured Kaif. If Kaif had got any serious enjury then he mights have lost is carrear.

After looking all this dirty behavior of Gangli then we can say he is not a good man and always looks others players that they are his personal servants.

I hate Ganguli.

Greg Chappel
by Subrata Santra on Sep 28, 2005 11:06 AM  Permalink

In my opinion Greg Chappel has definitely jumped the gun. In his thrust to take complete charge of the Indian Cricket team he did not think twice in belittling the Indian Cricket Captain. Whether one likes it or not, Saurav Ganguly has scored more than 15000 international runs. He may not be getting runs with the same intensity as of the present moment and it may be better to give him a graceful send off rather than tear his reputation into shreds and then when he is down and out, give a good kick in the tender parts of his body. This is not done. If Saurav Ganguly was mentally and physically unfit to lead India then he would not have achieved many things. He would not have been India's most successful captain if he had played divisive politics. Ganguly's worst crtics will acknowledge that he has never been parochial.

Therefore, in conclusion, Greg Chappel has lied desperately. This is bourned out by the very fact that the Physical Trainer & the Manager have given reports in favour of Ganguly. Finally, our media is the biggest culprit. Most of them have crucified Ganguly without any semblance of any decency.

is indian cricket is just business
by mohsin on Sep 28, 2005 11:02 AM  Permalink

hello

i think what the BCCI has done is have shot in the leg them selfs now its clear the result of 2007 world cup that india will barely be seein in the top 6 in the worldcup standings & it will all be balmed on cocah chaplle becaz he is a forigner

the BCCI must first chage their naem to BCUD board of control under dalmiya becaz here theis is nothing fo indian pribe nothing of natinal team nothing its just both come from begal so dalmiya what gangule to be the captain let india go to dogs it should be just bcc board of control for cricket of fight for control of board of cricket

if u show that gangule has socres 15000 runs in internationa cricke he is get than their r hundresd of crickets in india who have played 7 made 1000's of runs but never got the cahng to play for national team here u have evidenc from performanc but it si over loked

only in 2000 when azahr was ousterd banned from intenatinal cricket with out eviced concare evidebnc the same biard baaned him with out any concae avicdenc is this indian cricket i am sur with this indian cricket will go to dogs pigs & head no where it will end up in dalmiyas bedroom with gangule beside

Greg Chappell - a liar or / and a flip-flop !
by K Ray on Sep 28, 2005 10:59 AM  Permalink

In addition to what the writer has mentioned (if these are true, that is !), how come Chappell issues this long e-mail to a number of BCCI officials, and then within a few days, gives a written statement that he wanted only to provoke Sourav into performance (by asking him to step down), and has a lot of 'respect' for him ! That's a flip-flop !!

If he is so professional and upright, and has only the best interestes of Indian cricket in his mind, he could have very well avoided that 'drama' (of making a public statement regarding provoking Sourav) by saying that he would discuss these things on 27th Sep with BCCI officials AFTER the Zimbabwe tour is over.

Greg's integrity as a professional is in question now; actually it has always been questionable ever since his 'underarm' tactics days. He was no doubt a great batsman but he was just above-average as a captain, is yet-to-prove-himself as a coach and definitely dubious as a professional.

re. Is Cappell a liar
by D. Sankaranarayanan on Sep 28, 2005 10:56 AM  Permalink

No and he is an outsider and so no need not fear any one. Ganguly must go from captaincy, if BCCI is earnest in their attempt to pick up a good team for 2007 cup. Please note only Saurav has taken more time to cover 50 overs compared to other Captains, Why?

Mr.Mahendra- a politician's son
by Srinivasan on Sep 28, 2005 10:55 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is a disgrace to have people like Mahendra to run the affairs of the BCCI. we must not forget that he is the son of a politician from Haryana. the least said about such breed from haryana.
for the cricket loving public it is not a hidden fact that Ganguly is uncomfortable facing the fast bowlers. Today even the bowlers realise that and that is why after peppering ganguly with three to four short pitched balls, relive him by bowling outside the off stump which Ganguly also obliges by giving a catch in the slips.
What Mahendra should tell Ganguly is that to bat well on the field , think that you are facing a camera for one of the commercials signed up and start swinging the bat. Probability of scoring some valuable runs for the team will be more. At least some of our Cricketing stars look good while in commercials.Same thing for Sachin and harbhajan to regain their lost glory.
Chappell is doing the right thing. he is callin g a spade a spade . Unfortunately some of us[BCCI and ganguly] are not used to digesting the truth.

where do we stand in Indian Cricket?
by Baskaran.M on Sep 28, 2005 10:54 AM  Permalink

Does anybody really care about Indian Cricket? What has happened is clear from the email leak and media galore (leaving speculations aside). That the coach is not feeling good about the fitness of Indian cricketers especially the captain (who is all powerful due to his past successes but having failures recently not knowing what to do about it). Due respects to Ganguly - he has lost the charm (arm!) with fans. Who is the better judge? Coach or captain? What is the responsibility of the coach? Where should he do the recommendations to sack or keep anybody? Is there a hierarchy in this? Does the six wise men should decide it? Or is it left to the captain? (which is a stupid idea given the "mental' state of Mr S). Is it another classic case of Indian organisational failure and/or favoritism playing a bad case against one of the favorite sports that fans love inspite of its past corrupt history in this country?!! Who "really" cares? Guessed right - fans and those who pay for tickets and tax to pay these sportsmen and the BCCI!!

ganguly chappel
by Ranjan on Sep 28, 2005 10:51 AM  Permalink

Chappel is liar or not one can guess.

A guy who used trevor chappel method to win is certainly not a sports man, may be good batsman.

In todays context he is trying to save his skin by bringing our wrongs in players so that when team India looses again he can pin point, rather than pulling them all together. The shrewdness does not now work even in business because people are generally more knowledgable.

Regards
