ganguly is in deep trouble
by rayker on Dec 25, 2005 09:10 PM  Permalink

he did not heed to his form, or his slump while he was a captain, he was arrogant, and did not work on his batting. now, he has to say that he's scored runs in the past, and that he deserves a place in the team. if the team management has so much trouble fitting him in the 11, why are kolkottans raising such a ruckus. let ganguly quietly perform in the domestic, and come back into the team. with the current tactic, both ganguly and the people have done grave injustice to themselves - if ganguly fails - both him and his supporters will perish. sad state of affairs. emotional lot.

It is nice to see that he is in the team and definitely he will be in playing 11. We expect that Ganguly will give a good show and seal his place in both version of the game.
Good Luck Ganguly Good Luck India.

Ganguly'Luck
by manojyadav on Dec 25, 2005 06:46 PM  Permalink

after the od's ganguly got selected because of
bcci intervention courtesy Mr Dalmiya.
Dalmiya lost so did Ganguly.
But he received support of Bengal fan& politician
alike.Ganguly is in similiar situaton as Steve Waugh
who built a strong team and lost his captainship to
Ricky Ponting.
It's irony that Yuraj Singh is replacing Ganguly.
Once Ganguly unduely promoted Yuraj Singh at cost of
inform AKASH CHOPRA.

Ganguly back

The selectors must be sincere, honest and clear in their minds about their selection. Changing decisions like this shows that they are totally unfit to do the job, and have allowed themselves to be compromised. Such selectors must be removed. The message India reads is that you can get anything done if you make enough trouble i.e. make trouble with sufficient numbers of trouble-makers, arsonists, rioters. I am sure some other State can produce such riots and get their wishes on cricket or any other thing, including reversal of court judgements. It`s is shame for our country.

Indian cric team
by Jiger Chhadva on Dec 25, 2005 05:20 PM  Permalink

Well, its so easy to change sides during a crisis...infact, is it the crisis or is it just a bag full of .....
while we were kids, it was so easy to back out from decisions, change sides, etc., etc..
'International' Cricket in india is also becoming like a childs play now. minute by minute it is going to the 'DOGS'.
Politics should be kept only within the walls of the parliament. Why stain this beautiful game of cricket with this 'dirty' politics.

Finally, whatever the team may be, lets stand united against pakistan and end with a winning note..

GANGULY'S SELECTION
by S.BALI on Dec 25, 2005 05:00 PM  Permalink

Yes,I too agree with many that Ganguly deserve this and his inclusion in the team for Pak tour should not be consider either under pressure or any thing else, but on merit.I'm sure the selector will not regret having given him the chance which he well deserve more than any player of past & present

ganguli in team
by amit on Dec 25, 2005 04:08 PM  Permalink

its sad to find ganguli back in the team. just becoz the left parties are able to twist sharad pawar's arm. after his dismal performance in three consecutive series, he should have been given a farewell test and he should have walked out gracefully.. now he has lost all goodwill n will be disgraced.poor kif lost out in the battle
