Yup sure it was a fighting knock... But Boy did he look hagard while batting... And While bowling, when he fell down.. i was sure he's gonna call out for a stretcher to carry him off. And how many runs did he give away BTW... The thing is He WAS a good captain, He did lots for his team. But one should quit when their time comes to quit, quit while their still winning with their head held high and not wait to be kicked out and be Dragged out...Keep your Self respect and Dignity!!!!

Dear Tina,
You have put it aptly. You have poetic flair in you. I liked what you said. When most of the people are carried away, you have your head over shoulders.
I personally feel that the days of Sourav Ganguly are finished and it is high time that he quits and runs his restaurant "Saurav" efficiently. He just cannot remain in the team for his past performances. He has done a great job in the past and in recognition of the same they can have a benefit match for him attended by crooked politicians, their flunkeys, BCCI bigwigs with no cricketing credentials, Bollywood heart throbs, etc.
Your record of sucess as Indian Captain is going to be unbeaten for a long long time now.
We suggest you to concentrate on your batting performance, so that you create an unbeaten record of highest One-day run scorer for your successors to work real hard to surpass your records.
Congratulations once again.
Look forward to atleast 10 more centuries and 25 half centuries.
ya i think sourav is the best not only as a captain but as an individual patriot representing his country with the ultimate zeal. though i feel for dravid as he always have to bear the brunt but sourav is sourav.
the way he hits those dancing down -sixes is awesome, i just luv him
You have already given your best to Indian Cricket as a one of the finest captain and most aggressive player. We can understand that being so close to 10000 run mark, you should have been given an opportunity to achieve that. Now, you will agree with me that no hills are left to climb on the battlefield and therefore, this is the right time to say goodbye gracefully. I'm sure once Greg Chappel completes his tenure, you will be the most deserving candidate for the position of Coach of the Indian Team.
