No doubt it was a happy moment for sourav and india for having reached a milestone of 10,000. but the question remains is when this crickter will give their 100% and play for the team. it think it was selfish knock by sourav no doubt it was a comeback match. he made only 51 off 110 balls. we have seen player playing for themself and not in the interest of the team. his game did not involved even the slightest risk. A 20 to 30 ball less would have given enough for our talented talender to add some more to the total and make it respectable and difficult to chase. There should be no room for complacency and selfishness. hope our team come good in the final
this is great to see that ganguly has scored 10,000 runs, the only 3rd player to do so. inspite of many hurdles our prince of kolkata made it happen. hope there will be no hurdles down his way from now. All the very best dhadha and wanna see ur punching sixes again and again and again......
saurav you have done in past. you have instinct in you to raise to the occassion. now is the time to show the world what you have and what you can do for india surav wake up and raise for the occassion and win the indian oil cup for our country
Keep fighting Sourav and keep ignoring terminal critics like some former cricketors who can see nothing good in you. May be they are frustrated that they had hard times financially in pre television / sattelite world and making money now critisizing you .
You have many miles to go and many peaks to climb. Let 10000 runs not be your destination....retire after you have brought the glory in 2007, if your fitness permits...
One of the greatest fighters of the Indian cricket history, Saurav (Maharaj) Ganguly, achieved a milestone fighting against all odds throughout his carrier. Saurav took only nine years to score 10,000 runs which by itself will be a stunning performance in the world cricket for ever.
Royal Bengal Tiger shows true colour given a sleek chance !! Well done Saurav ....The critics should understand now despite a long bad patch u r only 4 innings shy from Tendulkar..and miles ahead than the rest in race..keep it up...all the best for the rest of the series all a lot more to come from u.
I guess India lost to Sri Lanka coz of his slow batting. He played the inning for himself only not for India or the team. He made51 in more than 100 balls which really slowed the pace of runs and India had to suffer coz of it. It`s time for him to just sit back home and enjoy cricket on TV.
