Good Job Sourav....The Indian team will remain incomplete without you. Everyone who aspires to lead has a lot to learn from you....Great job, you sure have a long way to go. Good Luck
Dada You are my hero. I dont know why it happens in india and some other countries. It seems that all the Captains have a very unceremonious exit. Look at Australia(Steve Waugh). Dada gave so much for the Indian cricket. I feel he is the best captain India ever had.
Well done, Maharaja! We knew you had it in him. Do more. You have many seasons of cricket ahead of you. We shall watch you with interest. All the best.
Man what a comeback!I don't think there was any other way for Sourav to answer his critics.Remember Sourav has not only completed 10,000 runs in the One Day format but also has hit maximum number of sixes in ODI(Indian). He has played so many match winning innings. The innings he played against SriLanka in 1999 World Cup at Taunton of 183 was not only the highest score by an Indian batsman in World Cup but with the Ease he played Muralidharan which stood out.On his day he can destroy any bowling line up.Against the spiners he is delight to watch. He clears the field long-long way.He is very aggressive and is very passionate about Cricket. One of the finest and the most successful Indian captain in both forms of the game.He has lead the team from the front.Today if we have payesr like Sehwag,Yuvraj,Kaif,Harbhajan,Zaheer etc delivering the goods its because of Sourav's persistance and faith in these youngsters. He is mentally tough and who can forget the remarkable 2001 home series against Australia when Sourav literally took Steve Waugh's team head on and emerged victorius. He has good 2-3 years to offer to the Indiain Cricket both as a player as well a captain.
