Be positive Dada
by Rajendra Madhwa on Aug 05, 2005 06:11 PM  Permalink

Hi Dada,

It was good performance in the last match, Keep going the way u do. Indian team always requires a captian like you. you have been the best captain in indian cricket history. think positive and keep yourself going. Things will fall in right place shortly. Dravid is the best performer in the team india, but lacks the skills to be captain. Dada see all those matches in which you set established as role model to others, u ll perform the same way in coming matches..

Let there be happiness and joy always in our country

Jai Hind

Congrats Sourav for reaching the milestone of 10000 ODI runs. I am sure you will regain your form and give us the opportunity to watch more great and breathtaking innings.

Saurav must return as Captain of India again after completion of this tri series.

Rahul may be a good batsman but not in one day Cricket because of his slow scoring rate and moreover Rahul is not an aggressive captain which is the need of modern days Cricket.

Saurav can take along his team mates which Rahul cant.

Sourav,

Congrats for reaching the milestone of 10,000 Runs in ODI. But I would like to comment few things

You should opt out of ODI Cricket and concerntrate on Test Cricket as your running between the wicket and fiedling is quite pathetic, Watching you play on Saturday I was shocked to see you chase the fall and your bowling has a not impressed me in the past nor in the present. You may be a good cricketer but not that good to stay on the International arena. You were the main cause for India's defeat V/s Sri Lanka game not many top international cricketers play for their milestone as you did on Saturday. If you play in team's interest than you should help the team in one and only one way and that is by announcing your retirement from One Day International Cricket as you looked exhausted and didnt had the plan to score your 51 runs of 110 Balls at an average of 46.36 which was not the level you play when you land on the cricket

So think about it & give India a chance to celebrate because every Indian thinks that you have past your prime and should not do national duty but a home duty

Give youngsters a chance so that we can have a best team when the World Cup is around

DADA
by Samrat on Aug 05, 2005 05:52 PM  Permalink

His mental resolve coupled with a steely determination to bounce back from hopeless situations is worth emulation.

He is not only an exemplary leader but also someone who treats criticism as an opportunity to turn it around. His killer instinct has rarely been ever seen on a cricket field in the numerous Indian teams that have taken guard over the years.

We should be proud of our heroes and Dada most of the time is one such and therefore deserves respect from all quarters-peers,media,the public, the administration, ex-players and experts.
