India lost because for the following reasons: (1)Greg Chappel's Rigorous Coaching.(2)Sachin,Dravid,Sehwag and Dhoni's Rigorous working for their brand companies and also became ANIMAL & lowered their standards for Pepsi.
India failed bcas they thought that the line up of india and the fortunes will make them champions but the minnows are the true champs of this world cup at any stage.since cricket is a funny game and the predictions must be wrong and this happens in the past. also dont lay the experinces from the past make gud in present and the future will not make anyone predicted.notlie on the past thats the fact india went wrong make the team a young and energetic ones.i am not saying that the seniors are to be avoided.make the pay up to the potntial of each game performance and this will amke them play up to their potential amd ignore them if they failed in more than two matches.
try to encourage the young players bcas india cannot rely on sachin up to end.
also restrict the players from appearing too much on the ads.
pay per performance is be the mantra of new Team India
avoid waste and make the team brilliant this will make and produce the result
if this is not done by nw the BCCI will suffer for that

India failed because of the lack of cohesion in the unit. It seemed that the players could not contend with the superstar status of the coach and vice-versa for the coach. Coach Chappell should show a degree of maturity in dealing with certain issues within the team, especially the ones concerning the players and their talent and attitude. A ringside view suggests ego hassles. It also suggests that there was complete lack of motivation in the group. The dressing room was fractured and there were multiple power centres within a group of 15 to 17 individuals working towards a common goal. In a highly competitive scenario, this set up cannot work for long. Unfortunately or fortunately India did not qualify for the super eights. Not sure how the "fans" would have reacted to six straight losses of the team at this stage.
V DO NOT NEED BEST PLAYERS, I THINK V NEED A BEST TEAM WHO CAN CONTRIBUTE AS A TEAM , SO THAT THEY CAN PRODUCE RESULTS, RATHER WHAT V HAVE NOW IS THE PLAYERS THEY R MORE WORRIED ABOUT THEIR INDIVIDUAL RECORDS. I THINK RAHUL DRAVID IS NOT A GREAT AND AGGRESSIVE CAPTAIN, BUT HE IS A GREAT BATESMAN AND COMMITED PLAYER, BUT V NEED A PERSOM WHO CAN DELEVER THE GOODS IN A WRIGHT DIRECTION, NOW THE TIME HAS COME FOR DRAVID,GANGULY,SACHIN,SEHWAG,AGARKAR TO MAKE THE PLACE FOR YOUNGSTERS,
I THINK THAT IF THEY PLAY WITHIN THEMSELVES THEN TOO THEY MIGHT HAVE LOST THE MATCH BY TIEING. IT IS BETTER TO WATCH OTHER NATIONS PLAY CRICKET AND THAT WOULD ALSO EASE THE PRESSURE. GETTING INTO SUPER 8 AND LOSING THEIR WOULD ALSO BE A SHAME AS DONE IN THE LAST WORLD CUP, THIS TIME THE FATE HAS COME LITTLE BIT QUICK IN THE FORM OF BANGLADESH.
The answer is simple. There are other teams better than ours. The better team wins. Stop building castles in the air. May be if our team works harder they can improve. But remember that other countries are also working hard.

Yeah this is correct that others r better than us but in what aspect. The players are good quite well in their form. we lost 2 games and won 1. If we look at the match against Bermuda we see that we got a record 413 runs which is not only because Bermuda is like minnow. If it were be so then Sri Lanka, who won against India, should have also been made over 400 runs. Other teams aren't much better than ours but they have strong team spirit which was absent in our players so we lost against Bangladesh. The teammates are not so intimate that they should be including coach. They have not the same relation which they had in 2003. All of them are playing for their own. This is the main reason that they lost
To err is human and to forgive is divine.u may argue that err always is not human.it is true that the team has not been performing well.it was totally a dismal performance at the World cup.it was shabby cricket,slip shod performance
both by bowlers and so called cricketing professionals.To an extent captaincy was lacking aggression and dynamism.It is true that Dravid always holds his consisitency and to pinpoint the mistakes upon him for lack of support from other team members is well nigh unjustified.look at Mathew Hayden-his stay was in doldrums but then today he is playing fantastic cricket and lo he wld be man of the series in the world cup-aussies desrve to win this time too.look at Glen Macgrath-what a way he bowled sterday,coupling variation and pace
totally mismerising the opponents.That shd be the spirit if u really want to be the winner.
it wld be better to leave things just like that and allow them to reshape into rythmn and confidence. Dravid to continue as captain and
regroup his talents to surface as a winning captain.sachin, sehwag, yuvaraj and saurav,to support Dravid and exhibit their brilliance and not exuberance.other youngsters to get chances on rotation to prove their mettle and find their gravity in the team.Gradually,the seniors to retire .That wld be good for indian cricket.
Emotions and hasty decisions wld only weaken the team further.
It totally lies on selection committee. They should keep in mine to select all youngsters right from number one to number 11 with one each players as spare in each position. We should select two best opener capable of staying as long as possible to face the new ball and should be more agressive. The next two batsman should be capable of batting even if the first batsman fails unluckily not because of their failure but because of best bowling or due to ground condition. The next two, 3rd and 4th should be bold and courage enough to face more boldly and agressively to face the ball to increase the score and they should bat atleat more than half the way. The next two batsman should be a alrounder. Out of which one should be bnest wicket keeper batsman and the other should be best bowler cum fielder cum batsman. The next two should be mixed with spinner or offbereak or medium fast bowler cum batsman and the balance should be off fast bowler cum spinner according to country with whome they are going to play. After the selection of the above 11 players, a simillar spare team consisting of the same 11 to be kept as a stand by. The selection should be based on caste, creed, religeion, poor or begger, irrespective of the state they belong. Important and weightage are to be given to merit and not based anything else and should be unbiased. Our BCCI has got enough resources and media is prpare to spend any amount, these selected should be identified and to be trained in each and every cricket ground in India so that they can capable of playing in any condition,. If any one these players get affected physically, members should be selected among the topers from states. Otherwise our country cricket will become hockey and will be still worst. If the present circumstances goes in a simillar way as on date without any vast changes, there is no doubt we will be last cricket playing country in the world and will be placed behind Burmuda or even the lowest level country in the world.
