each and every one of the playing and coaching and supporting team is responsible. A few of the playing squard feel that they are indisposable, how bad they may fair! The coach is no. one idiot. He can not differentiate between Australian and Indian mantality.Feels whatever he thinks is correct! No one practically knows the role the so called supporting staff, comprising people of coach's choice! To restore normalcy, forst thing you do is - KICK the COACH & HiS supporting team out of India!!! Then find some one who wasn't a very great cricter(naturally won't have a bigger than life ego) but really understands the game and very good at man management, that's what one need to handle Indian Criceting Super Stars and the ever accusing media people. soumitro K. De, Kolkata.
I think there is no point in talking about what had transpired . Let us now start and plan the game for future. At the outset, we ned to have a indian coach who can get along with our players very well and brain storming is required. I wish if india have 2 coach one for batting and fielding and another for bowling. The coach should train more youngsters in the bowling department as well as for other areas. Politics should be banned for the game. Neither the coach nor the players allowed to pass any comment about the players in our country. The coach should be back bone to the players and sort out their problem as and when require. All our players are good and just because they lost the match we can not come to any sort of conclusion about their performance. They will defenetly bring the larual to our country.
To me the most responsible person of a team is a captain. I agree that a team is made up with 11 players(specialist players), and there one players fault counts, but if the leaders is faulty himself then how can that team prosper; it is almost like a bulding whose base is not strong. I was not in the Indian cricket team, so it is impossible for me to judge the culprit, but an overview of the situation says that there was fault in all the sections(starting from coaching to the players performance in the field). I can conclude that because a team who has appeared in the finals of the last world cup how can one expect that team to lose and go out from world cup in the first round.
I think its not fare to say that there was mistake from selection board. I mean how much more balanced team you can expect yaar, come on you are playing with seven batsmen and four bowlers. Out of these seven five star players who have done lot for Indian cricket team and almost all are in good form. The other two batsmen Uthappa and Dhoni they are new for such big tournaments, we can not give 100% responsibilities to new players. As we saw that after a huge amount of expectation in the end both of these did not play well, imagine we had more freshers.... Everybody knows that we are out of WC because of poor batting which was beng considered one among strongest. Now let me explain the problem with the strategy of Indian cricket team: there is no proper and different strategy for each team and in the team for each big players. I mean comeon you cant have same startegy for Aus or Sri lanka or Bangladesh if you are doing so yo dont really know whats the cricket. It does not finish here, our master blaster players so much technical than any other country's player. no problem with that but there is advantage for opposition bowlers they know your weakness they maintain the line set the proper field now you can not penetrate the circle because you always tend to play grounded shot even in powerplay. This is what is creating pressure on batsmen head now they suddenly try to do something under pressure ofcourse thet will loose there wicket. Solution is you put pressure on bowlers instead of taking pressure this s what all big teams have been doing. Another problem with few our big players as many spoke is that they are more concerned about there score if they reach 40 or 75 they go slow and there they loose the rhythm, its never in any other country.
I think these are very basic points and coach and board has to think about it and make players change there attitude. It should be done on the regular basis not just matter of one or two tournament i.e. if we win next two tournaments we have overcome the problem. There should be system to monitor and evaluate everything and plan accordingly.
I hope you agreed with my points... Please reply..
the hot topic that is discussed today is who is responsible for the loss of world cup campaign
and it gets more hot when the board sits to discuss it on 6 or 7 april.
none other than the BCCI is responsible for the loss.the board is much interested in getting lucrative contracts to fill in coffers through telecast rights and advts. the basic structure of cricket is completely neglected and there is a feeling that the domestic setup is completely neglected. why do aussies succed with even their newcomers is that they are brought up in that way to succeed .the board is not innovative in organising tours for young players to countries like south africa and australia so that the players get accustomed to the conditions the point is that why cannot we make such pitches in india . its a common fact that when aussies cme to india we make spinner friendly pitches why this fear? the other problem is that in india we give more importance to name then ability what happened with kaif is weel known when yuvraj was injured and was on recovery kaif was playing well the selectors must have given him chance during the sri lanka series. to blame the team is not right every player who plays unless he has a corrupt mind will never play badly or try to lose his wicket its just hoew the preparations and the mental state that make the player successfull . chappell has to be also blamed for not able to get the right players ready before the worldcup in time and try things that was not in his capacity he must be squarely blamed for his poor dwecisions and lack of motivational capabilities, also i have lastly want to blame dravid for his inconsistency outside asia and his lack of leadership and thinking capabilities not innovative in field and lacks the killer instict not a good leader but truly a great world class batsman Mr. DEPENDABLE.

it is not the time to discuss who is responsible for the failure in a simple manner.they too are men with heart & blood but they should have the understanding of represendin a nation whose 70% of people are below average standered of living. the way they are putting up through expensive mode of life style is not simply because of their talent but the sweat and blood of this india as the nation. if they can't maintain that respect towards their responsiblity (refering to their retiring on the previous night of the match)they should be fired along with their coach.
a new team should be set up at any cost.so that it shall be the a lesson to the whole nation. that their is no category that shall lead other than the qualified ones.
let that trend creep in to the elections of our MLAs and MPs

Our player don't have any word like 'confidence' in their dictonary.
It is not the mistake of the players. It is the mistake of cricket loving community that, each time they go to the stadium ,to give more importance to the match, palying by these so called non patriot players. They are more interested in advertisement, flaring their ego, and motivation of all the stupidity for the selfish scores. The Gavaskar, Ravi shashtri, Azaruddin etc, are the gurus for all these happenings in our country. One thing required is the government should not allow these players to associate any thing other than cricket. they are the natiional properties till they play and represent our mother land Bharat. Also the job quota under sports catogory is to abolished. At the same time the outstanding players to be honored by the government and they must be entrusted responsibiliy of continious improvement of the field which they represents. Today what is happening is qualified people are losing their opportunity for employment. Once these people enters in to employment, neither they work nor they work hard for the sports community. They try to enjoy all the govermental amenities and privilages to their kith and kin of their families. Let us thank the sincere players of yesteryears who played for our country. It is the inability of 100 crores indians not extradicting these type of non patriots in our country. They earn money and vanish. If they stay back spoiling the whole sports society. In the social circle too, only for the media coverage they appears. Instead of suspending all these players from the field, government is giving full protection by using the official machinery at poor fellow men cost. Let one year the pakistan adopt these players, then this people will understand how innocent are citizens of Mother Bharat.

I think when the india came for batting agaist bangladesh that time the sequence of player was wrong .
Secondly, they would have been took one by one run between the wicket insted of direct heating bat. Take the example of southafrica or Australia they normally takes the shortest way of runs like one or two.
Thirdly india had no confident bowlers on whome india will rely upon.
