its not correct to blame coach he can just guide the team ,main game has to be played by the players.there is no seriousnees in the field,as they are receving good amount from the board, ads.i think KING richards is good coach for india.the BCCI should take on the players .Allthe best to india team for future ,dravid is eft for capiton.
i will never blame indian cricket team coz team was not built well by Mr chappel coach of the team. it was his responsibility to built instead of crtisizing each player. he should do the work for what he is appointed. he was always talking of team for world cup but the players to whom he was looking none of them played. for eg. Raina the most inconsistent batsman he was favourite of Mr. Chappell where was he was he in the team. he was given most chances to prove himself for world cup but at the end he was drop instead chappel after failing in international cricket raina was to be asked to go in domestic cricket perform &come back to World cup. but kept on playin intrnational . than comes Kaif he was not at his best so why didnt hey ask him to play domestic. Irfan Pathan one maore failure. SAchin tendulkar who didnt know where he has to play the most consistent batsman in opening had lost his position where to play. this was done by Mr. Chappel. Instead of asking gangully to play down the order , axe was on Sachin. 4 openers in team threee keepers how is it possible to have balance in team. why Bhajji is not axed what was his performance before & in world cup. Mr. Chappell beleived in figthing nothing else. i think Aussies has sent chappel to demoralise indian team. why Aussies has not appointed Mr. Chappel? can any one tell me.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT .IF SACHINE SHOULD BE GIVEN CHANCE TO OPEN THEN DEFINATELY THE RESULT WAS DIFFERENT . THROUGH CHAPPEL OUT .
actually the fault was not of any single player. playing a game and winning it depends on the whole team and not on any single player.and now a days the team work which is needed for a game to win is not present in our team even on loosing the game our players does not want to improve it. they have no worries even on loosing the game. our players only wants to earn money and they are doing so from the advertisment agar unhe world cup ki itni hi tension hoti to shayad abhi sabh game improve karne mein lage hote but they don't have any tension regarding that it's the fault of our players only they are responsible for such bad playing only the players. now arises the question of why everyone is raising their fingers on the coach he is doing his job well if the players are not taking him seriously then what is the fault of coach in that. if they want to do something in future then the only thing they can do is to play well and for that they need hard work we have time now also and the only advise we can give to them is to do hard work and play like a team and should spent their time on the field rather than spending it in advertisments. a player is known only by the performance not the smartness which they show in ads. aur ek message for yuvraj singh abhi usne kaha tha ki aap west indies aayiye to sahi phele usse yeh pooch lo ki woh wahan rahe kitne time time tak jo hum wahan aaye.so finally i want to say that cricket board must take strict action against our players if they find that even on giving them chance for improving their performance they are not taking it seriously then they should not allow the players to be in the team.
Why everybody is back of the Coach? what can a coach do when the senior players are not dedicated. to be frank a coach has nothing for the players. He can show them the direction to the players and the rest is to be done by the players. They are in the A team, right. They know the game... so they are there. It has been going since a long time, that senior players doesn't hear the coach...especially in India as all the players have records and are No1 players in their respective fields. the present players do not have any interest or dedication to play hard so thay play hardly as they get their grub very easily and good money from the advertisements. If a player plays well in his first series against a minnow, he is held up to the sky and all awards and what not are ushered on him. On getting all these he stops thinking of game and starts thinking of the money.
A tough decision should be taken by the board and everything shall be revamped. Let the younger lot who are good be taken anf the older lot be done away. We need experience for guiding the lot and the older lot may be good at that now. Stop including politics in games.

Coach is the main person who should responsible for all this. He spoiled the entire Indian team. Senior players cann't hear the coach - which is not beliveable. Why he give the statement at this time? Why not in the last year?
i cannot wait to see what Mr Chappel and Mr Jagdale writes in their reports and hope they spill the beans out......if what we see in the media is true then each and every spoilt, rich brat(senior player) should be chucked out of the team....how can you expect victory when their is no solidarity, cohesion, unity, understanding and co-existence amongst the players......Rahul Dravid is a flop show as a Captain, period!!!!he is one of the best batsman going around today but captain,,well no way jose!!!!!!!
world cup 2007 was a disgrace for us indians as the BCCI is the richest cricket body in the world but money does not always translate to success.and yes please do not blame Greg Chappel....frankly i believe that only GOD can coach the indian cricket team and nobody else....foreigner or indian,it does not matter ,,the results will always be the same......its all about ATTITUDE and PRIDE.........there is a saying that says "if you really want it,go get it".....the indian team never looked hungry to win the cup and yes, money makes you forget who you are...if the indian team had gone down fighting,we can all lift our heads high proudly and say that we are "Proud of you guys, hard luck"....but the mode of defeat...!!!!!!! well even a fool could see how they went down.
anyway i wish i was never a cricket fan as it would not have hurted to see our team faring so badly.....sadly being an indian,we are brought up to see and watch cricket and LOVE CRICKET and when such a thing happens ,it hurts. but are the real offenders hurt?
look at the bright side though.....we have a few new male models in the indian ramp now......yeah!!!!!! arjun rampal watch out!
remember that kapil said in an interview that india team need to take dission about the batting placements in every match need to be unchanged all the time if not then india will kiss the world cup and return back home without the cup.
honestly,it is not the players fault.why? well fact of the matter is that we the people tend to expect too much from a tried and tested failing team.when can anybody recall India winning a series in which two or more teams are involved, abroad? yes there is the hype about too much money, advertisement endorsements etc.but in reality it is just that we over expect our non performing paper tigers to perform and that too at the world cup.that is asking for too much!!!!!!and yes i hope the new cricket league takes off with a bang so that we can at least see some fighters come up,fighters who are proud to wear the Indian logo on their crest and not like the present crop who are more inclined towards protecting their "handsome" face and image so that they do not end up losing endorsement deals.
i play cricket at state level and honestly when ever we lose,we practise even more so that we can win the next game...we practice on hard outfields but dive all over the place coz we play with pride and yes,we are never paid any money.but the national players, despite all the riches that they amass.....????????well cricket is a business opportunity and not a game anymore to all the current indian players.....
sorry to say this but since the late 80s Indian cricket has been on the bane.....and yes i am also sorry to say that unless Money is taken out of the equation and complacency is still prevalent then Indian cricket will trod even further down and sooner rather than later we might have to play the ICC qualifiers to take part in the main stage of the world cup.Team India flopped big time and yes despite everything, has taken the sheen away from this World Cup.
This is due to lack of team spirit. They did not play collectively. Whatever the differences may be with Greg, winning the World Cup should have been team's priority and Team India should have ignored all other things till the goal is achieved.
