The reason India flopped is due the fact that there was no game plan. It was deplorable for India to bat first against Bangladesh. Once the match was lost, India could not recover from that shock. India failed as a team, the body language showed it. The fielding was terrible. What more there was no game plan.
Indian team ibecame group of glamour and publicity stars who have forgotten their role as player and find pleasure in promoting suiting,,soft drink,chawanprash,castrol and whatnot.Their committment to te game become zero and there is none to ppoint out this small point and to take any corrective action Players who are happy to walk on ramp and campaign for the commercial products are simply to be made disqualified as player .they are not entitled to be selected as players .Their contract with BCCI are to be cancelled with immediate effect.Selectors are also equally responsible as they cannot see onthe promising players emerging other national matches.sHADOW OF FIXING MATCHES CANNOT BE RULED.wHEN GAMES BECOME A SOURCE OF MONEY AND PLAYERS Aare getting as free without any assessment of performance has already made them redundent as players.BCCIhas to clear vision of promoting the game CRICKET or the players of repute who already became white elephant for game it self.Time has come to review alll aspect not by country but by people at large to whom cricket is close to their heart for which they have not avoided work,but peace of mind too. Unless this cricket menia is not going out of the head every player will take seriously till attainment of stardom and afterward be busy with other money making activities like advertising and modelling and acting in film and lessatententive to practice to make him fit for game. If we are serious for improvement of cricket,we have to take harse and drastic action: i.Arrangement of regular practice and fitness of players to be checked and on consistency term of contract to be extended.In case of unfit nessforperiod for three to six months contract to be cancelled. ii.As soon as the player appears on advertisement, the contract to play international or national matches to be cancelled automatically and contract with new promising players to be entered with. iii.Selectors are not to adopt the democractic method of voting to select players on consideration of fame,east, west, north& south ,kith and kin criteria iv. The present performance of player would be the sole crteria for selection. Casual and indisplined players are not be inducted or allowed to continue as a part of the team because sch players not only form group inside but lead the damage to the game as whole .They are the weakest link required to identified for removal in the larger interest of the game.
wrong team selection & in beetween matches we peacked wrong team thats make the defference. we continue performing poor so why we not give chances to our youngster like Pathan, Sreesanth & Dinesh Karthik. with aged people like our all superstars our fielding become more poor.
What is holding back ? we have star players in our team and we cant blame coach or players at this point of time..they should have played with boldness not with confidence bcoz we could see the attitude of our players when played with srilanka...they should be aggressive not like amul babies...
