Don't we have better things to do rather than dreaming about cricket. We can think about education, arresting prices, weeding out corruption, trimming our Govt expenditure etc etc. Why don,t you share your views on these pleae
it is true that indian team's early exit from the world cup has come as a wake up call for the BCCI. AND i am really satisfied and contented that players as well as coach have been thrashed for such a disgusting performance. I THINK it is time we took some measure to stop all those trends which hinder our being professionalised. we,people of india, are also responsible for such a fate which has befall on us. we,which includes media as well, have reduced these players who were being worshipped some days ago, to joker. how else can we explain the hype created just before commencement of world cup. it is no secret that there are teams which deserve the cup more than us. as reward must go to the best and when it comes to competition it does not matter whether or not we have produced nuclear bombs or for that matter we do have reservation system to honour affirmative action. if we keep behaving as a bunch of crazy people just to see our team fare well it just can not do. we must behave responsibly and cast aside all the prejudices. it is not just cricket but it is case with every sport being played in india. we must take on the challenges head on and stop behaving like cricket crazy nation. till sometime ago the same SACHIN tendulkar was the greatest god of the religion called cricket. and now he is being reviled as being mafia by some of opportunist. is it not craziness? the same status is enjoyed by andrew flintoff in england. but he is not being decreed there and i believe if india is to win next world cup or thereafter we need to shed this mentality which will of no use to anyone and will push the indian cricket(sports) to its all time low. so if i were asked to rate the cause it will look in the following way:

2}media[in this age of 24@7 hour news channel which needs to churn out news without taking into consideration its authenticity to keep up their TRP rating and hence call for monitoring agency to look into the problem]
3}bcci{for lack of vision and commitment}
4}lack of amenities for the sportsman other than those representing india.
5}players{for not being lived upto the expectation of fans and less concentration towards their game despite bening well equipped}
I put blame on BCCI for this loss. We are such a huge country with full of talent(in cricket atleast),and we can't select 11 strong man to bring world cup for india.
My suggestions: 1.Select spots to build different sorts of ground matching different countries weather condition and pitches. 2.Let domestic tournament happen on these pitches and environments. 3.Let selection happen among the best performers on these conditions. 4.Train junior cricketers on these kind of pitches. 5.Try improve mental and physical fitness of all players. 6.Have best 30 members always ready for playing anywhere and in any conditions.
We need to look into figures where indians hardly have performed outside india.Leave winning,they appear as minnows to sometimes even Zimbabwe.
I think even we are equal responsible in this loss.We give so much value to same players(status of God)when they perform in a single match and that too when on Indian Soil.
We must try train players in different kind of conditions and do selection looking into their performance in overall.
While batting against SL,right from the opening pair, it was a very clear message from the Performance of Team India not to contain the Wicket and not to slowly move towards the mediocre target patiently.Even so called world class & experienced batting line upto seven numbers depended on the next players to bat and take care and they lost/threw their wickets in time of crisis without any contribution. It appeared that they were novice and their senority was without any action oriented thought process. Let them spend more time and encash their seniority and records in Ad performance and more money and not the game of cricket.
sachin, ganguly, dravid and harbhajan should be asked for retirment. they have record but only on paper. new blood should be given chance. And policy should be made play well and stay in team. not to be paid in higher amount . Invest same amount for inbound cricket and developing good pitch condition. no western coach needed coach should be puerly indian were team can be comfortable. should play as unit. feilding should be improved a lot. no big potu player should be in team. fitness should be give more concentration.
indian players did nothing wrong but it is r country which did wrong .hiping them so much and making them their god made them too confident or better to say overconfident.India today is in great need of young talents not models or actors.
poor strategies n lack of unity n confidence in players...chappell is solely responsible coz he tried 2 dictate terms widout undrstandin da players...da young crops also couldnt perform like the seniors...wat did robin utthappa n dhoni do....they r also 2b equally blamed... chappell trid 2 many experimentations due 2 which da players cdnt fig out their role in the team...dravid is a poor captain n not a team man...
see ganguly working had on fielding, bowling and bating,his come back in very hard situations[chappel],his age.dont think that he is much far than your records,as he played 120 appox mathes less than tendulker.reduce your weight and work hard and give most of your time to cricket .otherwise indians will forget that you are tendulket and he is dravid
