Who said india lacked..it is the people who lacked common sense and sports man spirit. Its a game , its not a war. If you don't want to see your favorite team losing then dont dare to watch cricket. Just imagine the pressure they are facing while they at their crease/ground...be empathetic rather than showing sympathy. The best example is Srilanka. The people there does'nt have any problem what ever the outcome...they just enjoy the game. There is no stone throwing or threat to life..so the team members play without fear and give 100%. We have to be like that, give them support and wait for the change

mr sreejith? cricket is our national game. Nobody can tolerate this at the crunch time Our loss of form in this world cup was due to our senior players negative approach.
There is lack of so many things in indian cricket team.when ever any batsman is out, in that condition all are falling like the "house made of leaves". They are not seems to be mentally strength.They have no confidence.Lack of poor capitancy.Lack of planning.Ignorence of performance of the player.Players has given very much freedom.They are concentrating more on advertising than cricket.They are not practicing enough before any match. No understanding between BCCI, team manager, captain, player,and coach. Ignorance of talent and the nonperforming player is slected again and again. So many thing are there, I can not explain in words.This is time to think about all issue seriously.

Indian cricket has lot of talent players like sachin, Gangully, Dravid, and other players. But they should know the responsibilities at the same time they should know their performance at current situation. This is the time to introspect the players whether they continue or not. Here i want tell something about selection of the players that is any player if his performance is not up to the mark immediately he should remove from the team then only player recognizes his own mistakes. Coming to Fitness if a player 100% fit to the match then only he should included in the 11 members for that match who knows one great catch or great fielding may change the entire match , so its possible only when a player 100% fit. We have to fallow rules that are implementing country like Australia they select the member on the performance base only. If a player out the game due to any injury , he included in the team when he proves his fitness and the form. We can see many examples past years. BCCI hard in these implementations . A player should select based on his present performance not his previous records.
This happened when there was a clash between Chappel and Ganguli I think Ganguli is best leader at present As a Indian cricket team captail Mr. rahul Dravid to take we see better Indian performance responsibility
I think Indian batsman particularly so called seniors (better to call waste persons of great country) are responsible for early exit of WC 07 with their lack of killer instect we are seeing the result or debacle. Better sack the senions like tendulkar, ganguly, agarkar, jaheer & sehwag, we see better Indian performance in ground and boycott the endorsed products, humiliate them(seniors & irresponsible players) in public places. It not clear letter that board politics are also responsible, better leeve the politics.
Strong commitment to win the game.Only difference between Ganguli and Dravid is that Ganguli Play to win and dravid just play a game. That's all India Needs. I think Ganguli is best leader at present. Person in active politics should not be allowed as any chairperson in Sports Organisations.

I agree Ganguly was the best Leader but past not present his performance in world cup was not up to the mark, he still serviving and make 66 runs against Bangladesh faced 120 balls. He came open the inning and still surviving at least 44 overs and he make only 66 runs what the hell,

Well said mr.Abhishek ...Only if ganguly Captain then only he plays for our nation means ...No need to select those kind of players .Give chance to some other Youngsters .
The reasons for India's poor performance in the World cup can be summarised as follows: 1) Chappel- There was no harmony in Indian team.This happened when there was a clash between Chappel and Ganguli and it continued. 2) Poor Captaincy - Dravid is always found to be lacking in ideas. The batting order, bowling changes, motivating players, showing the way as a leader - it never happened. 3) BCCI- Timing of taking appropriate decisions was very poor. 4) Kiran More - He was a puppet in the hands of Chappel.He neither identified proper talent nor he had faith in Senior plyers (barring few). Seems to have some peronal problem with Ganguli!!!

indian team is like a house. if one brick(pillar) falls then the entire house collapses. their attention is more towards advertisement and less towards cricket. if they say that they gave their best shot in the world cup then they are wrong because there is no way that bangladesh can ever defeat india if all indian players are 100% dedicated. there are definitely certain periods of time when everywone working as a team or individually do no perform up to the mark . maybe that phase was during the WC for indian team. never mind. indian team has a lot of potential and all is needed is a strong and mentally stable coach and captain. LETS HOPE THAT INDIAN TEAM WILL DO WELL IN FUTURE....
